discrepency w/ Ready to Feed vs Concentrated Formula in this weeks ad Okay...need to ask a question...seriously...
On my page 13 of this weeks ad, the bottom left hand corner it has the statement:
With card "similac ready to feed formula 32 oz (excludes alimentum)" and there is a red bubble with $4.99 on it.
Here's my question...the bottle on the picture is for the new concentrate that similac has come out with. It is in the ready to feed bottle.
Let me be clear here...it is not ready to feed...but when I was at Target the other day and asked about it (hadn't seen it before), the area person for the baby section (had no idea they had a person like that?) said...yeah that's the new concentrate...but similac is calling it the "ready to feed concentrate" It isn't ready to feed b/c it requires being mixed with water...but that's what the guy said when he spoke with the Similac person that was stocking the shelf. Didn't know similac even showed up at Target. He said that since it was a brand new product...a similac guy was there?!?!?
So this is a brand new product...I feel like I did when my DS was on a brand new formula two years ago. He was on a brand new formula the day it hit the shelf...well about a week after. I know that I happened to meet a similac rep who was stocking a shelf at Walmart who told me all about the new formula. So I'm guessing that they really do send a similac person out when a new formula hits the shelf to explain it? Maybe?
Would I be okay making a case that the new (possibly called ready to feed) concentrate is also $4.99 b/c it is the one in the picture (unless there is a statement at the store somewhere stating that the wrong picture was used). Or do I need to go specifically by the verbiage? I don't want to break any rules...so I promise...I'm truly asking...I just would love to try this stuff...and with a formula check...it is worth trying at this price.
Thoughts? HONESTLY!
THANKS!!!!
