CVS ~ Vent: Stupid CVS Cashier

So, after getting accused of copying my Sobe coupons today, I put all 6 coupons so you could see all the security codes and pointed out that they were all different. She said, "yes, but these are the same" pointing to the barcodes. I said, "how could I have copied the 6 coupons if the security codes are all different?" She called the manager over...who basically said the same thing to her that I did and apologized to me. She said they have had so many people coming in with copied coupons this week that she has told her cashiers to only take colored coupons or call her over. I think she needs to train them on how to be polite about it also!!!

What idiot doesn't know that a copy means the whole coupon will look the same...including all the numbers

I'm sorry but I had to about her accusing you of using copied coupons with different numbers. Sorry she gave you a bad time but i'm glad that the manager set her straight.

If you see her again, you should inform her that color doesnt mean anything. My $55 printer makes copies in color just as well as it does in black and white. She probably hasnt had a single copied coupon all week, she just believes they are if theyre in black and white. I bought sobie yesterday and the cashier just scanned my first coupon six times and never even looked at the others. For such a successful company, they sure seem to have some communication/training issues where it counts most.

Too funny...sadly I've had to do the same thing and the cashier didn't believe me either (this was a little over a year ago at CVS though). Uh, hello???? How can it be copied if the security codes are different? I actually had that cashier tell me that I could have just typed in different numbers on each coupon. WTH?? So, now I'm not just copying them, I'm creating and forging them too???

Some people seriously need to listen to what they say (BEFORE they say it, preferably). Glad you had a good manager though.

WOW! You ARE good!!! So, how ya comin on those 5million- dollar-bills? "know" you must have a whole closet full of them!!!!

(makes ya wonder one of two things: Does the person even OWN a printer and computer? ... OR ... ookkkaaayyy ... and just how "good" are YOU on computer and forging, if "that's all it takes" to forge it!" ... could really make a person wonder!)

Has anyone besides me noticed that the IPs now have the print date on them? (guess you typed that in, too!) ... check above the bar code, on "Retailer" line!

I had a Cashier tell me last Sobe deal.. umm miss did you know that they are allready b1g1 free? I was like yes mam'm, well you coupon is b1g1 free.. I was like uhuh..and... well If i used this coupon then you would be getting them for free. I was like yes mam'm that's the point. Well I cant do that, so I ask why not and she says I cant give you a double discount. I said yes you can , I have been using them all week.. well then she accused me of stealing coupons online ( which I didnt know you could do that) and i explained that I didnt steal them that you can print two a day.. and she goes on to tell me that I'm wrong and I stole them of the computer..so story goes her manger got involved and told me that i would have to buy 3, and I said I'll just go to my regular CVS where I dont have problems.

I went to use to IPs last week and they lady went through the WHOLE list of "bad/forged" coupons first before I could use them. I understand that there are a lot of people that do create bad coupons, but really I have a conscious and I would never do that!
