CVS ~ Other: New Springfield, Missouri CVS to open August 8!

I didn't know where to post this, but I saw a sign in the Glenstone store yesterday. The new store is on the NW corner of Battlefield and Lone Pine.

Are there usually any special deals when a new store opens?

FYI, this will be Springfield's second CVS - a traditional "corner" CVS store. Our current one is supposed to be the largest CVS in the US; it went into a previously used building, instead of being custom made.

EDIT: They're not closing the big store, just adding a new one.

To go from the "giant" CVS to a tiny "corner store" is not fun! I miss the big Springfield store!

When our CVS first opened, they mailed out $10/20 coupons!! I was lucky enough to get a bunch from the neighbors

Im not shopping at the new store. I love my big store !!!!! There are a couple of people I hope start shopping at the new store though ....

I think CVS took over OSCO and that is how we wound up with our giant CVS. Its 5 times the square feet of a regular CVS store

I live in Ozark so I don't think I will get any bulk mailing from CVS -- I better start making some friends in Springfield
