Re: Prescription Transfers?
Guess what! My CVS has a plastic pocket thing in the front of the kiosk for people to put their coupons if they don't want them. In there was a $25 for transferred prescription coupon.

Re: Prescription Transfers?
There are a few other things to keep an eye out for when transferring Rx's at CVS...
1) one of the CVS stores near me checks to see if you have EVER filled that Rx at ANY CVS store before - if so, it disqualifies you from using a Rx transfer q on that Rx ever again at any CVS store.
2) it wasn't considered a "new" script when all refills had been used and the Dr. gave us a "new" Rx...
3) they've taken notes from K-Mart and started giving a gc for up to the amt that your co-pay is on that Rx. For example, I have a $25 q for new or transferred Rx. My Rx 'costs' $180. My co-pay amt is $10 (insurance pays the other $170). They will accept my $25 q, but will only give me a gc for $10.
Better than nothing...

Re: Prescription Transfers?
I've never filled a script at cvs that I'm aware of. Always walgreens, heb or walmart.
still have refills on my script
my copay for this is $50 because I have to have the brand name (don't get me started on that! LOL)
So it looks like it should be fine for me! But thanks for telling me. I was going to transfer my birth control but that is only a $10 copay.
