CVS ~ Question: Buy one get one Free question

A reader on my blog commented that on the buy one get one free General Mills cereal deal this week to be sure and buy two of the same kinds because she didn't and didn't get one free. I have never had this issue on any B1G1 deals at CVS. Has anyone encountered that here? Have you had any problems with the GM deals this week? I only bought "yellow" Cheerios so I don't know from experience.

That's only happened to me if they weren't the exact same price. Like with Covergirl. But even then, I got the lower priced item free. Something sounds weird about that. Sounds more like a glitch than a new rule.

Thanks, Meggers, that has been what I had, too, the lower price in the past. I am wondering if she got one that was not a GM cereal. I thought I'd ask here in case it is a problem with this specific deal. I figured you all would know if anyone did.
