Default My first CVS scenario post...forgive me in advance

Okay I am sure this is a MESS. I have done walgreens rr's but not CVS yet. I do not need filler items for ECB's correct?
I actually really do need all of these things, I'm trying to build my stockpile without buying unnecessary things. I don't have sales tax factored into any of this.

transaction 1

complete multi purpose solution 7.99
total $7.99 oop

get back 7.99 ecb

transaction 2

2 suave kids shampoo (use 2 $.50 off) 4.00
4 suave body wash (use 2 b1g1 body wash) $3.34

$4 + $3.34=7.34

1 colgate toothbrush pack (can I use the $.75 off coupon I have even though it seems to be for a single toothbrush?)
unsure of cost

total: over 7.99

use $7.99 ecb
get back $5 ecb ($3 for suave and $2 for colgate)

unsure of OOP for this one because I don't know how much colgate toothbrushes will be and I really need them
so I'll pay whatever

transaction 3

2 body wash (use b1g1) $1.67
4 deodorants (use 3 .50 coupons) 5.00-1.50=3.50

due 5.17
use $5 ecb

get back $3 ecb

transaction 4

2 head and shoulders shampoo (use b1 gl coupon)
$4.99 x 2=9.98-4.74 (coupon says it can't be for more than $4.74 so I assume they'll price adjust?)= $5.24
total: $5.24
due use $3 ecb
around $2.50 oop
get back $2 ecb

Do you see anything that simply will not work? Can you read this at all? Help?

It looks like you didn't spend enough on the Suave products to get the ecb's in transaction 2. You have to purchase $10 worth.

She did. The bodywash & shampoo are 3/$5, she's buying 6 total for $10. Then deducting her coupon savings, making it $7.34.

OP, do you absolutely need to get the Colgate toothbrushes? I only ask b/c I toothbrushes are something you can normally get free (or under .50), and this just isn't a good deal to me. The 2 pack is about $6 at my store, so with ECB & using the .75/1 q, you're looking at $3.25 (or 1.62 each) You'd do better buying the Oral B thats on sale 2/$5 and using 2 $2/1 Oral B tb q's that were in the 7/4P&G insert. Now you're getting 2 for $1. Sometimes the ECB deals aren't the best deals!

If you haven't done the monthly pantyliner deal (cvs liners are 2/$1, get $1 back wyb 2), you could add that to #2 so you can use your $7.99 ecb from #1.

that sounds like a good idea Melissa. I wasn't sure what the cost was of the colgate toothbrushes but $6 is more than I probably would be willing to pay. Getting the Oral B brushes is a much better deal.

I don't have the coupon from may though, I didn't start couponing until the second week in June *cries*.

I had to amend my transactions a bit because they didn't have ANY deodorant at the 2nd store (I did 2 at each store), so I just got 2 more kids shampoos and a suave professionals shampoo and conditioner (had a $.50 off of two coupon). I was proud of myself for thinking on my feet and not feeling defeated by the fact that they didn't have what I had planned for. AND for having my binder with me since I only pulled out the coupons I planned on.
I ended up paying $18.33 for $64 worth of product with a $2 ecb for next time. I bought a few small candies for the kids as well.
All in all...I feel pretty good!
Now lets see if I can attach a pic:
