After the $5/20 coupons in the newspaper expired, how long can you still use it for (if your cvs store accepts expired coupon)?
Accepting expired coupons is really YMMV.

yeah, it depends on your store. mines take up to 2 weeks after exipration date :) i didnt know before and i threw away all my expires. even some of the cashiers there will not accept expired cvs coupons eventhough the manager is okayed with it. weird.
I was wondering if CVS prints out/sends the famous $$/$$ coupon for newbies to their program. I don't have a current card and it might be a reason to sign up if they do. Or is it random or based on purchase frequency?
Thanks so much!

I have 2 new cards and 1 of them gets a $4/20 almost everytime i scan it.
My grandmas card (has had it since revco days) gets a $5/15 every single time she scans hers.
Think it's just random to be honest!
It's based on your purchase frequency. I don't really understand how the coupon machine scanner thing works, because I shop there at least twice a week, but it never prints those out! D: But I know CVS will email you those coupons based on your shopping habits. I usually get $5/30 ones, and if you don't shop there that much, you'll probably get $3/15 or $4/20.
Sometimes I think a card is just "lucky" or whatever. Out of the three we have, only one consistently get's 3/15 coupons, the others haven't gotten anything for months.

I'm curious... does it beep after the stated exp date?
