im suprised walmart wouldnt take it. usually they price match and everything. as in you can bring an ad from another store to get that sale price at walmart if it cost more at walmart. I used to do that with ensure and walgreens ads. Ive taken the target manufacturer ones when i worked at cvs. I would assume if it starts with a 5 or 9 and/or says manufacturer that theyd take it. walmarts are silly though. Wic encourages you to use coupons to bring the cost down but the cashier said she cant take manufacturer coupons on wic items. So i was like meh whatever they encourage us to use coupons at wic but you people wont take them! It might just be a employee thing on how that particular person was trained.

OH HECK NO! That makes me angry that they wouldn't take your coupon on WIC. I've had a few various cashiers try to say that, and I ask why on earth they would discriminate WHO can use the coupon... and they ask a manager, and it's always an "of course she can use a coupon!" I would have been LIVID. AND I would have called and turned them in (there's a number for just such occasions on the WIC id card).

I always have problems with WIC at WM. I rarely go there.

That being said-I was hoping that CVS would take a MQ with a Target logo because there's one for the Haagen Dazs that is has ecbs this week.

I once tried to use a manufacturer coupon that I printed from Target website at Walgreens and the store manager said that he cannot accept it because he wasn't sure whether they will get reimbursed for the coupon. A couple of days after that I got a Save-a-lot booklet in the mail which had some good coupons for the "spend $25 get $10 ECB on P&G products" deal. But it also had a Save-a-lot logo. So I decided to email P&G to ask them whether we can use these coupons in other stores and this is the response I got form them:
    "Thanks for contacting P&G,

It's important to know that, ultimately, stores determine their own policies regarding coupon acceptance. Since those policies vary, it’s best to check with the store where you want to shop. P&G coupon policy allows for the coupon to be redeemed at any store that accepts P&G coupons.

    Stop by anytime!

    Ruth
    P&G Team"

    Hope this helps!

I have used the Target MQ's at my Walgreens with no issues. Isn't it strange they all make things up as they go? lol

I would ABSOLUTELY let WIC know. If the cashier won't take the coupon it just costs the state more money. Stores make tons of money off of WIC so they are going to want to follow WIC rules or risk not being able to participate in the program.
