CVS: Weird reaction by cashier to Bayer coupon

I would have said that you would be happy to open the box and test your blood sugar for them. If it wasn't above 100 you would be glad to not purchase it and give it back to them.

I understand what the coupon says...for diabtics, but I donate the meters to diabetics who can't afford the meters. What if I had a child or family member with diabetes? If the Q is only to be used BY people with diabetes then it should be sent only to pharmasists not put in my weekly newspaper!


Oh, I had a WAGS pharmacist get upset because I wanted to buy 4 meters in a week w the Qs. He said he needed to keep them for his patients. ??? I'm a paying customer...it would be different if I just threw them away. I DONATE them. I don't clear the shelves, but I do live 45 minutes away. I couldn't just go back the next day.

I was in line behind a woman who was using one of those coupons a few days ago.

The cashier said she couldn't use it because she wasn't diabetic. The lady assured her that she WAS. The cashier told her she was too skinny to be diabetic.......................................

Thank God she was a cashier and not a pharmacy employee?

Excuse me!?!?!! Exactly at what BMI or weight does she think diabetes starts? Will she tell the next person with a coupon thay are too young to have diabetes? What about Type I Diabetes?

Never knew working as a "cashier" at a pharmacy made you an MD? Wow, guess all the MD's I know wasted their life away in med. school when they could have just applied to CVS & been granted their doctorian.
