cvs- Receipt shows speed stick combined with softsoap? Only printed ECB for SS

I bought 2 speed sticks and 2 softsoap bodywashes, both of which were supposed to produce ECBs this week.

Well, on my receipt I only got $4 ECB for the two softsoaps and nothing for the speedstick. Under the description on my receipt it said something like "here are your extra bucks for speed stick, softsoap, colgate pro, etc. etc" and lumped several different products together.

Does anyone know what's going on with these deals? They had different limits, and were listed in different sections in the ad so I didn't think they were part of the same deal?

Well... there are two different Speed Stick deals. One is BOGO @ 3.19-4.39, and the other is a 3.49 Stainguard (NOT part of the BOGO-specifically excluded) getting 2.00 ECB's. Check your receipt-which one did you get?

I got the stainguard.

Well, then I'd take my receipt back and have them push through the ECB's. They have different program numbers. The softsoap is 11521674, and the speed stick is 11543107.

Thanks - Will do. I was just kinda perplexed as to why they were lumped together on my receipt. Only those items on pg 11 of the ad were lumped together (speed stick, softsoap, irish spring and colgate pro). Weird! Thanks for pointing out the 'program numbers' being different!

I got one Softsoap and one SS. Got my $4 eb, and at the bottom it said "quantity needed to earn this reward 1" so it looked like more than two was the limit. Even weirder then, since you only got $4.

And did your ECBs print together, also? Or was it two separate 2.00 ECBs as it should have been?

Had the same thing happen to me today. If fact, I came to the board looking to see if anyone else was having the same issue. Bought 1 SS bodywash, 1 Colgate Pro, 1 Lady SS Stainguard and 1 Men's SS Stainguard. I should have gotten 8 ecb's but only got 4. Didn't notice in the store. Do they still let you call after 24 hours? I would rather do that.

I think if you got one speed stick and one body wash then $4 ecb was correct. both of those have a limit of 1. But the toothpaste should have gotten the ecb as well though. But buying 2 deodorants and 2 body washes your only getting the 2 ecb on one deodorant and one body wash. If you got the body wash , deodorant and toothpaste you should have gotten $6 ecb. Make sense?

the men and woman speed stick are on the same ecb so buying one mens and one womens you would only get the ecb on one of the speed sticks.
