I bought a regular reeses dark bar today...the .89 ones that are under the register, and it counted too. I needed a small filler, and .89-.55/1 coupon made a good one.

I purchased an $8 TruBlend foundation and a $6 Clean pressed powder. Both items were listed in my local ad as being part of the "spend $10, earn $3 ECBs" CG promotion. When I paid, I used the B1G1 coupon from the newspaper insert a few weeks ago. This took $6 off my order. So total amount of products purchased was $14, however, the ECBs did not print out. Instead, at the bottom of my receipt, it stated that I had $6 towards the $10 credit needed to earn them. I asked the cashier about it, and she said it was because I had used a B1G1 coupon, that it would not credit it in those cases. However, I have used B1G1 coupons in the past in similar situations with no problems. Also, if that was the case, why did it not credit me with $8, since the $6 was the amount taken off due to the coupon?
I emailed CVS ExtraCare customer service, and the guy who responded told me that it was because the Cover Girl promotion was only valid in Puerto Rico. What??? I responded back and gave him the link to my local ad that is available ON THEIR WEBSITE.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? And if the ExtraCare customer rep doesn't resolve it, is there anything I can do to get my ECBs?
Sounds strange to me too...I've never had that issue before, even when using a b1g1 coupon. I'm not sure what you could do...the promotion is obviously not valid only in PR...I mean they have tags on the store shelves and it's in our papers!
Good luck.

Thanks...I thought the whole thing was strange, just wanted to put it out there to see if anyone else has ever had this happen, and also see if there was something about it I was missing.
Both the people you talked to were wrong. I would call corporate again, tell them what you purchased and give them the event code from the flyer. They should be able to make your bucks print out on your next trip.
Can I roll the ECB's at CVS? I've got no ECB's to begin with, so would like to buy a pack and use it to buy the next and then do that again (with MQ and ECB). Am I still going to get my next ECB?
Hardly ever shop at CVS anymore, so I can't remember. TIA
Thank you!
