the way my CVS does rainchecks is I have to pay for the item up front then they manually print off an ECB that is a "non-specific" after the entire transaction goes through. I had purchased a toothbrush once that was free after ECB's on the raincheck but I didnt realize it had printed me a 1 ECB during the actual transaction..I didn't realize it was a promotion at the time. so I ended up getting the $1 ecb on the original receipt then the $3.99 Ecb on the manually issued "raincheck" ECB and didn't realize I had gotten both till I ogt to the car and was looking at the days "work"
