Some managers will allow using both on a $15+$20=$35 purchase, which can be useful if you are buying an item worth $20+ by itself. Otherwise, where's the fun?

no. both coupons say they must be used alone.

Thank you for clearing that up for me, I thought that was correct but I had friend that used both together so I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.

so let me see if i understand this. ive been couponing a while but am new to cvs. there is a machine you scan your card at when you first arrive, or you give it to the cashier?

some stores have the scanners in the store and yes, you scan your card and it gives you a coupon (or 2). other stores (without the scanners) give them to you on the bottom of your receipt. HTH!
