CVS ~ Question: cvs---Can I match Buy One Get One Purex qualifier with Buy One Get One sale?

I couldn't find any reference to this, but I noticed in the ad Purex is buy 1, get 1 for $0.01 Can I take my BOGO purex MQ in there and get both for $0.01? Without buying anything else? I'm not really a CVS shopper. Haven't been there in almost a year, so not really sure if this will work. Do I have to add some other stuff to my cart to not make it too obvious I'm getting them for free? I really hope not, b/c I don't need anything else.

And is this talked about somewhere on here? I couldn't find it in this week's ad thread. The MQ cme out in the RP yesterday--the one that will prob come out in the newspaper on Sunday. We just get an extra in the mail the Wed before, sometimes.

Yes you can. Some cashiers think you can't, but I have an email from CVS customer service stating that you CAN do this. If you have troubles and would like a copy of the email, PM me.

Yes, you can just get those items, pay whatever tax they charge where you are and leave with 2 purex for basically 1-cent :)

If you have a kroger-chain store in your area, it might be worth using the coupon there though - it's a $2ish money maker that way.

I guess i am confused on this. If you use a buy one get one coupon wouldn't they just give you the .01 one free. Someone please explain to me as I guess I am slow today. LOL:0

If they are B1G1 .01 then if one is say $2.99 that means you get 2 for $3.00. But if you have a B1G1 Q then you will buy the .01 one and get the $2.99 for free. Something like that. Hope that Helps HTH

I did a similiar deal a few weeks ago with the stayfree pads they were on sale B1G1 and I had B1G1 Q's so I only paid tax for two which was .80 for 2 packs of stayfree.

Please watch out for this.
I took the letter from CVS regarding bogo q's on bogo sales to my local store today. CVS will honor bogo free q's on bogo free sales, but the sale is for buy one at x and get one at $.01 and that null and voids the bogo q process. The fellow said they are doing their sales this way now, to avoid the "loss" of bogo+bogo. I still argued "whether you are getting the $6.49 from me or the $6.49 from Purex, you still get paid the same, what is the problem?" He then tried to tell me that Purex only reimburses them half because this is a bogo sale and that they factor in the whole transaction when reimbursing them for those q's.
To me, it sounded like alot of double talk, but I admit I was concerned that something like this would happen when they start putting a price on the 2nd item.
So dont be surprised if they start to make it harder on us Q users.

I think they would give you the .01 purex free. Same as when they run a B1G1 50%, if you use a bogo q, you'd get the lower priced item free with the q.

exactly, i don't think this is going to be a "go" for alot of people.
