QUESTION cvs----Cottonelle 12 pack

Is $5.49 the best price (without coupons) for the 12 pack of Cottonelle? I don't think I've ever seen it lower than that anywhere else.

I am new to buying TP - I used to get it free at Albies - Scott 10/10 with $1/1 Q or .50/1 doubled - but Albies does not run that sale anymore and our region does not regularly double now either.

$5.49 is about what I have been paying for the 12 double rolls - is that what you are referring to? I think that I have occassionally gotten it for 4.99 but no less than that. Buying TP stinks- too bad we desparately need it!

I don't have an Albertson's near me and my fiance will only use Cottonelle. I used to use Charmin when I lived with my parents/on my own.
I think the Cottonelle for $5.49 with my .50/1 coupon is the best deal I'll ever find. Too bad CVS doesn't double.

Are you sure you want to commit to a lifetime of brand-loyalty?
Get out now - while you have a chance!
Find someone who will use Marcal....or anything.
(just kidding of course! Best wishes to upcoming nuptuals!)

That is hilarious!

MY DH was brand loyal too, but I changed him! Yes, that's right I made a man change! Now only if I could get him to put the toilet seat down!

The 12 Big Rolls Cottonelle (blue pkg) were $5.00 all of January at Wags...but I think these have less sq ft per roll.

My dh is very careful to be considerate in the toilet room. So he puts down the whole lid..... and I've never had the heart to tell him that's just as inconvenient. I just appreciate that he is making the effort
I don't know which is worse - to go in the middle of the night and fall into the toilet, or to sit the bare bum on the lid.....

Go ahead and tell him!

I was putting both the seat and lid down and my wife finally told me to leave the lid up and just put the seat down. I used to just put the seat down, but started putting the lid down also once we had a baby. It's been a little over two years. She finally told me last month.

After 20 years? :shrug7: Forgot to mention that....
I've also decided that it looks nicer to have the lid down though, that's what it's there for, right?
And then I've also wondered what right do I have, to make him put the seat down, but he doesn't ask me to leave the seat raised, right?
Why should he do it for me all the time, and always be the one inconvenienced?
I'm sure the answer is chivalry or something like that, but I've just never made a big deal over it.

But wait! Your baby is just now old enough to become fascinated with the toilet - might want to put the lid back down again!

Sorry this has gone off topic sort of...
