CVS ~ Question: cvs- two questions please

Hello,

Question 1: I saw it posted here on the CVS thread that someone said the Nesquik 10.9oz containers were $1.65. I printed out two of the $1.25 Qs and headed to the store. On the shelf they were listed for $3 something. I went to the scanner and scanned them and low and behold, they were $1.65 (Thank you for posting this!). Nothing at all on the shelf indicted this. So my question is: How do you know these things? Is it all trial and error? Do you have to randomly scan items to find these deals?:shrug7:

Question 2: I get the ad and see this week's deals, but I was wondering how can I find the deals for the month? I saw someone asking about the SoyJoy ECB if it was still running, and I thought I had heard about a pepsi one once that wasn't listed buy everyone knew about. Is there a special place where these are posted so I can go refer to them?

Welcome to HCW. You will find many more $$$s in your pocket if you pay attention here.

I was the one who spotted the Nesquik deal. I have three CVSs in my neighborhood and noticed that one had it on clearance. It was in a corner behind another item. Knew there was a q out somewhere so just took note of it.

Went home, found the printable(check the database here or at other printable lists available on the web). Happened to be at another CVS store and thought I'd just check the price there by scanning the item. It was NOT tagged at that store, but sometimes one store is quicker/better with getting sales and clearance items tagged. Clearance at that store. Found a deal

As for the monthly deals:
CVS used to have a monthly booklet. Now they are relying on tags on the items on the shelf. Tags have dates for the deals and members here spot them and report.

Many of the deals being talked about here are from their Bonus Days which run every year Jan thru mid-Feb. Look for the thread about Bonus days.

I did do pretty good yesterday buying the fusion razor, the venus razor, an olay body wash, 2 gillette body washes, 1 gillette deoderant, 2 nesquik, 1 nivea body wash and 2 nivea lip cares for only tax (stinking tax in Oklahoma ) oop. I started with $10 in ECB and had 2 of the 4/20. Ended with $10 in ECB and paid the tax on my free CVS GC from Ty Pennington

I have a feeling this deal finding, coupon using is going to become an addiction

I searched "bonus days" and it came up as a blank page. Any ideas?

but, they end on feb 14 or so. you might want to just learn all year and get in on the bonus ones next january.
