CVS ~ Question: cvs---- only one manu. coupon per purchase???

went to get 2/7 dove deodorant i have 2 $2 coupons for dove the cashier said i could only use 1 man coupon for the transaction...i didn't think to question it so i didn't buy it...
if i buy 1 deodorant with $2 coupon will the deodorant be $1.50 and then i go back and buy another will i get ECB? or do i have to buy 2/$7 in ONE transaction in order to receive the ECB?

do you get ECB when you meet the requirement for the ECB promotion period OR do they have to be completed in ONE transaction ?

and when cvs has 2/5 lets say if i buy 1 will one be 2.50?

You should have asked for a manager. The cashier made this up. CVS accepts 1 mq per item, not transaction.

If there is a sale 2/$5, then each item is $2.50, no matter how many you buy.

In order to receive ECB, you do not have to buy the items in 1 order. CVS system keeps track of your purchase and when you reach needed amount, you will receive ECB on your receipt.

they did that to me the other day w/ the same q. so far this store has been nice to me w/ q's so i just said ok and paid for it on another trsctn and got my ecb. no big deal.

Except when the sale "requires" you to buy 2, usually with a clip, or clip-free coupon. Or BOGO, which is obvious. In that case, you'd have to buy 2 (or however many) in the same transaction.

Problem with manu coupons is, that they frequently use the phrase 'per purchase', which can be interpreted as 'per transaction', instead of 'per item', as intended. Call for a supervisor/manager whenever necessary, and hope that they have brains. If not, there is always another day, another cashier.

Sometimes if the coupon wont scan you have to put it in manually or a coupon from an item on that item will say the item wasnt bought when it was so you have to manually punch it in . A cashier has to get a manager in order to let so many go through. its the registers being the pain. I guess it gets overwhelmed with coupons. I just call for my manager when it asks for a manager override. Most 2 for something deals they ring up half each. Any BOGO you have to buy the 2. it takes the free one off once you hit the total button before you pay.
