CVS ~ Question: cvs----M&M/Mars deal question

I just got a coupon in my email for $1 off any two Mars bags 8.5 oz. or larger. In the email it says get $10 Extra Bucks when you buy $20 of participating Mars products thru 2/6. I notice there is a deal this week where you get 3 ECBs if you buy two M&M or Mars bags as shown. Would these be the same products for the $10 off $20? Does anybody know which products may be included for the 10/20?

I also got a $3 off of $15 purchase so I am hoping for cheap candy in my future.

If you are referring to this week 1/17-1/23, yes there are M&M's on sale. 12.6oz. Valentine's M&M's 2/$5 get $2 ecb wyb 2. And there are insert q's for $1/2 from a week or two ago, I believe. I'll check and let you know. So if it says 8.5 or larger, it will work! Hope I get one!!

If the 2 bags of valentines M&M's count towards the $20 it will show at the bottom of your receipt. That would be great if it does.

I got that email as well & it says see store for details. I didnt see any signs today, but was not looking that hard either.

The store has blinkie machines in the chips aisle with $1/2 M&M coupons so this could make for some darn cheap candy! I grabbed a few blinkies today.

the email cvs store coupon says any mars 8.5 or larger. the $1/2 mfr coupon is $1/2 9.4oz or larger.

the ad says the valentine M&M's are 12.6oz so the coupons should be able to both be combined unless i am missing something.

that means 2/$5 - $2 for both coupons = $3 get $2 EB back so its like both bags for $1. that email coupon is only through monday.

The ones giving the $2 ecb are the valentine m&ms. I bought two bags of valentine m&m's used the $1/2 q from the email you spoke of and also found a $1/2 blinkie on the chip isle so:

On DH's card:
valentine m&ms 2 @ 2/$5 - $1/2 - $1/2 = $3/2 get $2 ecb wyb 2 (it says "mars buy2 get $2 ecb, qty needed to earn reward 2" and does not apply to the other $20/$10 "mars" deal)

On my card I bought:
regular m&m's 7 @ 2/$6 = $21 (+tax) - $5/$20 - 3 $1/2 ip - 3 $1/2 blinkie = $10 + tax and get back $10 ecb (this one states "candy spend $20 get $10 ecb")
the regular m&ms were "get an extra 10%" bags so they did not ring up correctly so the ecb did not print and she had to force it so I am not sure how many times you can do this deal because it is still showing I need to buy $14 to get the reward. HTH

Thank you for clearing this up. I will be off to CVS tomorrow for some cheap candy I have a coupon for a free bag from my sister, plus the ones I printed. I will look for the blinkie machine as well. Thanks!!

For the spend $20 get $10 deal...where is it advertised? I don't see it in the ad...I want to be prepared for it not to print and have either the number of the deal or something to show them. Thanks for sharing!

Hi ,The candy deal sounds great but I have a question my email q's always say limit one per customer and offer valid only for intended recipient .How do you use three cvs $1/2 mars candy q's in the same transaction or even separately if you could only print one?TIA

So what am I missing here? Isn't a blinkie a MFC? How can we use both on 2 bags if they are both 1/2?

I was only able to use one coupon today because they say one per customer. I did not see that before. No big deal, I did the deal anyway.

The deal is spend $20 on Mars/M&M and get a $10 ECB. From what I saw, it includes 11.5 ounce bags of Snickers minitures, Milky Way minitures, M&M's different varieties, Twix minis and the mini mixture.

I saw the 10% bonus bags of all varieties but I only took the mini mixtures bonus bags because I didn't want a problem but it worked fine.

I did the deal once and my limit is not met yet. The deal runs through 2/6
