Twice I have gone to CVS on a Saturday to get the last of the deals for the week and usually it's around 1:00. The floor employees are already going around the store and switching the sale price and ECB stickers for the sale starting the next day. Don't you think that they would do this later in the day...like say an hour ot two before they closed or something? I already know what I want to get and what is on sale but it makes it a bit easier when they have the stickers up so I know I get the right sizes. Maybe this is a petty vent but it's irritating, KWIM?

Lindsay WishlistI shop at CVS, Shoppers and Shoprite. I can double up to $0.99 and sometimes triple up to $0.40.
You may want to ask in my stores I can buy Saturday for deals that start sunday.. They can't run around the store last minute putting up tags and putting it in the registers..
Saturday Afternoons 2 deals are going on in my CVS stores and even in Walgreens never hurts to ask..
Unless you need a certain coupon in the sunday paper may save you a trip.

An hour or two before the store closed? Then there would be signs there for the morning shift to handle. It takes a long time to put up the new signs, even longer if the wrong people are attempting to put them up. The last few hours before closing requires a lot of clean-up, not doing something that should've been fully completed hours ago. The fliers are still available so that is how customers can still get the current week's sale items.
What *really* bugs me is this past Saturday, I went to a store who had turned off the current week and started next weeks. I felt conspicuous so I didn't bring it up with the manager, but wth?>!
I find it annoying too. I just make sure to have a flier in hand when I shop on Saturdays. I do like getting to pick and choice from both sale weeks.
One time I was in the store on a Friday night and they were pulling tags down. Now that was ridiculous.
You can give a horse a coupon, but you can't make it save.
I'm pretty sure that the current week deals/prices remain in effect even though they may activate the following week's deals on Saturday evening.
Just go to the scanner to make sure you have the right items if the tags have been taken down. I like it, it's the best of both worlds :)

I guess I am really lucky here in the High Country of NC. Because our weekly paper comes out on Wednesday, we have a three day (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) overlap on deals. Except on the special 3 day sales.
Honestly, what's even worse is when they DON'T have sale tags up during the entire week something is on sale. I LOVE shopping at CVS on Saturdays. My store even throws away the current week ad on Saturday and *that* can be annoying so I now I just make sure to bring a copy of the ad from my paper into the store and I can shop both weeks! Honestly, it's pretty easy to spot the good deals in my stores because the spot on the shelf is close to or completely empty!
I know that the current week stays in effect but do they start the next week's on Saturday then when they put up the stickers? May be a stupid question but I never thought to ask.
