CVS ~ Vent: cvs---This really bugs me...

Sometimes my store is still putting out signs on Monday morning. I shop with the ad and when in doubt I always ask when checking out.

I havent read all the replies but WAGS does this as well. we usually start changing tags about 2pm. at 5pm both sales are going at the same time. I always let my customers know this. It takes us so long to change the tags that we have to start early in the day. Im sorry it bugs you, however they would not be up intime if we didnt start early.

I have a totally different take on this. Some of my area stores get hit pretty hard by couponers but I am pretty sure that they dont read endlessly on the internet like we do. I can tell this because all of the "hidden" deals I tend to have to myself. I love it when:
1. There are no signs up all week and the good deals are still there on Saturday.
2. My ad is activated on Saturday and I get all my stuff and dont have to fight the others on Sunday Morning.
3. There are no ads, flyers, or signs at the store. I just use my phone to look at the ad scans.
4. Limits are increased or reset and no one knows it but me.

Some stores start the ad early. Two of my stores (out of 5) start on Saturday. The 2 that start early take down all the stickers from the previous week before putting up the new stickers. I take both weeks ads with me and use the price checker to make sure I'm getting the right items. One of my stores transferred a great employee to another location and when I went last Saturday to do early shopping for this week - nothing had been activated and I was told they would not activate the new ad until 10pm. So, I guess I'm now down to just 1 store that activates early. That's a real bummer in my area because we now have so many couponers, if you don't get there on Saturday, you are left with empty shelves.
