I was going to get my first ECB today! I read the deal here on Almay intense eye color, and I had a $1 Q. [I couldn't find the CVS cosmetic Q] Anyway, I found one of those mascaras on clearance for $1.99, so I got it. I gave the cashier the Q and it worked fine but it didn't print my ECB. I asked her about it and she told me ECBs aren't earned on clearanced items. :sad:

I never read that rule anywhere, but I guess I just missed.
I just bought mascara like a month ago so I don't need any - and this one I got today is for green eyes, which I am not. (lol) So i guess I'll be returning it.

Yeah, It does get confusing with each store having it's own rules.
Wags will give you a rr on an clearance as long as it's not a marker over the upc code - the register recognizes it for the RR.
RA - they are iffy. Sometimes it will count for the scr and sometimes it won't.

Anyway, I did the same thing a few years back at CVS with covergirl.
I didn't pay much so I kept it since it was a lipcolor the family needed.

Return it and tell them you didn't get your ecb and have changed your mind about it.

My store had Almay PureBlends eyeshadow on clearance for $1.99- use the $2 off any Almay cosmetic coupon that was in Sunday's paper to get some free eyeshadow.

Tonight, at CVS, I found ALMAY blue mascra , 75 % off = FREE w/ 2.00$$ Alamay
PG insert 2/7!

All brands, various mascra, eyeshadow, etc, have some marked 75 -50 % off. Also got HIP, which is fantastic long lasting eyeshadow. .. not all are marked off.. have to look for the tags.
Also Loreal Mascra, 75% off!!
