HOT cvs--No more monthly books

I was in CVS this morning and mentioned to the manager that his December monthly books were still out. He says the monthly books are history. He advised me to troll the aisles, that many items had ECB but was only advertised on the item with a sticker.

I found a 20-roll Cottonelle pack for $12.88 which I thought was a good price. What I didn't know was that there was a $4 ECB for the purchase.

Also, if you buy the 20-roll pack, open it and clip all the BTFE from each package.

He says that it is now going to take going up and down each aisle and checking the product to see if there is an ECB associated with it.

BUMMER!!

it's funny- when i saw the page of instant bucks yesterday i thought- that looks like the monthly booklet- i wonder if they are just going to start putting them in the ads.

i think we will do fine finding all the info. we have at least 10 thousand people hunting the deals!

Thanks for letting me know. I thought it was odd that it was 1-1-10 and no where on the internet I could find any Jan 2010 clip free deals.

Boo, I just recently started back to CVS. I quit for awhile. More hassle than it was worth and I was doing better with Kmart doubles. But now there is no more doubles and I did a survey for the advisory panel so had some ECBs to start back with. I was wondering about the monthly deals. Guess I can forget that idea and just keep my eyes open for the weekly ones.
