When did you begin CVSing?

I started about 2 or 3 years ago. I had an absolutely horrible sinus cold, and CVS had their Advil Cold & Sinus on sale for $3.99. I had a $1 CRT and a $3/1 coupon, so I think I ended up paying something like .07 tax for one box. I remember asking the pharmacist if I could use both Q's, cuz I honestly didn't have a clue about coupons then, lol. She said she didn't know, but we'd try it anyway, and it worked! I was so excited that when I got home I looked up sites on couponing and found HCW. I've been here ever since!

I started in October '08. My first deal was a MM on welch's juice, and I rolled that into a swiffer deal with a BOGO coupon. I started RiteAid in the summer because it was easiest, then moved into WAGs when I wanted the $15 polaroid camera. CVS was last, but now it's my favorite

I started in the winter of 05/06. I was pg then and I get horrible pregnancy insomnia. Thank goodness for the internet--I don't know what I would have done during those sleepless nights, what did women do back in the 50s?

Anyway............I have been couponing since 1989 or 1990. But it's when I was pg and on the internet that I discovered hcw, so since then I've really amped it up a bit. Previously I had been using coupons to get cheap/free clearance items, and I had been getting ECBs, just not rolling them as well.

Now, I've actually backed off a bit. I rolled the same ECBs for about 3 years, then when I had the second baby, I cashed them in, and I haven't been in CVS since March or April. I still check the forum once in a while to see if there are any "must do!" deals, but I have a stockpile that could last me years.

I started a little over a year ago. I had just started couponing and came to HCW and asked for advice. Several people suggested CVS. I never shopped at CVS because I thought it was expensive. Now I am going all the time and getting stuff for free or nearly free. I am so grateful to HCW for showing me the tricks for CVS.

Been CVS'ing since mid 2001. the best month was about 4 or 5 years ago when they had the unlimited October deals. I got soooo much stuff. It was great. There were about 6 or 7 free after ECB items and NO LIMIT all month! The challenge was just finding the stores with items in stock. But it was fun while it lasted.

just started cvsing this month. I had a $2/1 revlon mq n had started looking at ads n noticed cvs had a b1g1 deal on revlon products so I went to pick some up. When I checked out I got a $5/15 q and was like cool. So I came back the next day with a game plan after reading up on HCW. I purchased oral b toothbrush, nivea body wash, listerine, and some fillers for $15 n used my $5/15 q n got back $10 ECBs n was like cool. I hit up another cvs looking for the complete multipurpose solution for 9.99 n u get 9.99 ECBs. Almost each store was out :-( I have several in my area but finally found some and got a bottle for free with my 9.99 ECBs and got the same back. I am still rolling tha 10 bucks and loving it. My coupons collection is getting better so I hope to save a ton this year

I think it was August of 2008. I was trying to find coupons for make up and good deals on the HIP makeup line since I kept reading so much about it on different beauty blogs. The I got my mom into it and we went crazy for about 6 months. I still coupon but she doesn't anymore, it annoys my dad. He hates wasting so much time in a store to match coupons w/ sales and my mom hates to drive, so she says she feels rushed and doesn't bother with it anymore. That's ok though, I steal her coupons from the newspaper and bring them back down to school now to take advantage of everyones deals. However, there is only 1 CVS near my school, the others are about 30 miles away, so unless I get up EARLY on a Sunday, the good stuff is gone pretty fast. Oh well, I've done really well at walgreens recently so I'm not complaining too much!
