I was given one of those 30% off coupons by one of my favorite cashiers but it has so many limitations. No sale or clearance item, and can't be used on anything that is full price but produces ECB's (that's considered a sale) I will have to look really hard tomorrow to see if I can use it on anything.

I wouldn't be so quick to believe the cashier, here. After reading your post this morning, I headed off to my local CVS with my 30% card in hand. Just to double check, I asked the store manager about using the 30% with ECBs offers and she also said it wouldn't work, so I got my regular ECBs stuff and left without using the card.

Decided I was going to do the $20 WYB $50 Olay Pro-X rebate, so I stopped at a different CVS and picked up two of the $47 Olay Pro-X stuff with the 30% off, and also used a $10 coupon, bringing my total to $55.80 pre-tax. Guess what printed out on the bottom of my receipt--yup, $10 ECBs for having purchase 2 Olay Pro-X.

So, I say if you've got enough time to try it and you've got a really patient cashier who'll allow you to return items if they don't produce ECBs, go ahead and give it a try.

I am an employee at CVS. The Friends and Family 30% discount cards were given to us (only employees) to hand out to our friends and family. On the other hand I had to many so we were aloud to give them to customers. So unless you know someone that works there you are unable to receive one.

The manager gave me a 30% off card to use yesterday and I used it to do the Revlon and Garnier deal (I'm running really low on make-up and face lotion). It took over $10 off and I got a $10 ECB for spending $20 on Garnier and the $7 ECB for spending $15 on Revlon.
