CVS ~ Question: cvs--Do you know when the Contour meters....

I was wondering if anyone knows when the contour meters are going to be going on sale at cvs. I see the breeze2 meters are on sale but my store has tons of contour meters and not any breeze2.

Any ideas?

I don't know when they are going on sale, but they sometimes put out some ECB's with them. So if you don't really need the machine right now, I would wait till they do that.

I thought both the breeze and contour were both on sale for 14.99 for the whole month. I may be wrong. Just scan the contour and see.

As the other poster said. These do give ecbs sometimes and us that have been in the cvs game for a while know to hold onto those free coupons for the money makers. If you have extra coupons and use the meters the breeze and contour both have 10 strips in them so they are still a good deal to a diabetic.

if you need a meter now all you have to do is ask if they can substitute it for the sale (if the breeze 2 is oos) considering they are both Bayer brand meters. but yes there are ecb deals throughout the year and that is the best time to get them. but seems like lately they want to make everything limit 1...used to the limit was 2 or 5. it never hurts to ask for the substitution though

They are going to be on sale the week of Dec 6th. $14.99 get $5 ECB. The ad says the Bayer Contour.
