I just purchased my GC from the website and it was having some kind of problems not being able to complete my transaction and gave me some error code. I checked my email a couple minutes later and low and behold there was my gift card in my email. I printed out the $50 gift card I ordered and the extra $10 one they sent me with no problems. :)

Wow, thanks for posting that's an important point to know!
It says directly on the GC I printed, "This gift card has no expiration date, and no dormancy or inactivity fees will be charged. Gift card retains unused balance. Balance cannot be transferred or recharged."

I don't know if that's the same thing, but imho, it seems to imply that they'll leave your money alone.

I don't know about restaurant cards but it wouldn't let me buy itune cards. Says "cannot be used to purchase money orders or prepaid cards."

so I suspect it won't work for restaurant cards

Can these be used to pay pharmacy co-pays? Now that would be awesome since I also have flex spending.

Purchased a couple of $50 egift cards just to try them out and used them to pick up 4 prescriptions a couple of days ago.

My co-pays on the 4 scripts came to $36...and I used the egift cert just fine! The CSR had never seen one of the egift certs before, so I told her just to follow the instructions on the bottom of the page......&......voila......it worked!! She said she was going to get some for herself too!!

I think I will get some more while they are still available. My family spends alot monthly on Rx's. Love the bonus $5 for every $25 bought!!

I don't even know who to rep. Rep'd a few, but you all gave such great info.

I wish I could convert it to a "real" GC. I don't know if it is outside the rules (please don't give me a infraction if it is - I'm not trying to do anything wrong). Anyway, I bought some appliance or something last year and returned it because it was do-do quality. As a result, they gave me a GC. They couldn't give me my $$ back, because it was paid with ECBs or GC. Maybe buying a product and returning it is an option.

I just know that I don't want to carry around a gift card that is a piece of paper. Too many of those pieces of paper don't end up where they should.

That said - I'm still ordering because I am a CVS addict and I have no choice.

I bought a $50 card last week and didn't have to call or have anyone call me to verify my info.
Got the card and the $10 card in my e-mail soon after.
I haven't tried to use them yet, but kept the instructions that printed with them in case the cashier needs them.

Is the card something that you can print again out of your email if you either jam your printer. Or lose it or rip it or get it wet?
