cvs--Your Milage May Vary- 2 WATCHES FOR $5.00-ok pic really there now ~ 11/09

Some of you may have noticed end caps with watches. They say something like $5.99 each or 2 for $10....Well tonight I priced checked them and the scanner showed them to be 2 for $5.

Here's where it may be ymmv. They rang up at the register 5.99 for one and 4.01 for the second..so $10.00 as stated on the board where the watches were displayed. But I explained to my cashier that they scanned as 2 for $5 on the price scanner and he said he would honor it. He also honored it for a fellow couponer that was in the store that I told about the deal.

There were men's and women's. The brand was Details Timepieces in plastic sorta half boxes, red and gray sticker with brand name and $5.99 only at the top.

Good Luck...Hope your stores will honor the scanner price.

the first cvs i went to wouldn't honor the price. the second one that i went to did. so we bought 4. i got one for each of the kids and one for me. will be giving one away for xmas. thanks!

I got two watches last night. I checked them at the scanner and they said 2 for $5 with the card. The manager came over and told the cashier to adjust the price to 2 for $5 (since it rang up 2 for $10) and then he took the box off the shelf. He said, that must be wrong. I felt bad that no one else will be able to get the cheap watches at that store now but I'm glad I could get them. Thanks!

I got 2 of the watches also. I scanned them on the red scanner and printed the ticket and took it to the cashier, when he scanned the watches at the register is they rang up $5.99 and $4.01, I gave him the receipt from the scanner and he called the manager over, the manager said yes we honor the price, so I paid $5.00 for 2 watches.
