Talked to my favorite store mgr about the ad last Sunday. He said corporate was keeping BF ad under tight wraps this year. It will come to stores next week in a red envelope.

The ad may not be in the stores, but the stores do already have a booklet with the schematics of how the store layouts are supposed to be, which has pictures of the ads on it.

Huh? Its a Black "FRIDAY" ad, why would it start on Thursday ? It didn't last year...I remember being in the 24hr CVS before midnight waiting for it turn over to Friday.

Here where I live it WAS on thurs. because I went out shopping early on Thanksgiving Day in the am and got all the FAECB's, then went home and to my MIL's house for dinner. I remember because it was my first year couponing and doing Black Friday deals, plus CVS is the only place I did any at.

our's started on thanksgiving day last year... (i remember NOT having the kids with me for a change- and coming back to turkey dinner!! but they were with me on our black friday run...)

Are there separate sales for Thanksgiving day and Black Friday? I'm confused. This is the first year I will be close to a CVS on Thanksgiving and it would be awesome to knock it out of the way on Thursday! Can anyone confirm the deals start on Thursday? Thanks so much.

Last year they started on Thursday. I'm not sure if anybody has the ad for this year yet. Perhaps somebody that works there will know.

This is a 3 day sale starting Thursday. This is the same way it has been for at least the last 2 years. I specifically remember spending my Turkey day at CVS and loving how easy it was to get the FAECB deals because only people totally obsessed would spend a holiday at 5 cvs stores and 4 Rite Aids. The ad is out there online if you try to find it.

I will be going out of state for Thanksgiving and they have a CVS. This will be my second time at CVS, I will only be there for the sale and have to head home on Saturday. I need some help. I want to be able to get all the free after ECB with little out of pocket, I realize I will need to spend some money up front but after that I dont want to spend.

I am soo bummed. I just found out that there is no CVS where I am going to be on Black Friday. Now I have to spend $10 in ECB by tonight b/c they expire on Saturday! I had been saving them.

Okay so if the ad starts on Thursday, should I be at my 24 hour store and get all the stuff on Wednesday night at 11:30 so I can check out after midnight? Will the deals be working yet by then? Thanks so much for helping this newbie CVS Thanksgiving shopper out!
