CVS ~ New Holiday Sale Book

I know when they scanned mine, it came up as "free" on the screen. My ecbs didn't print either.

I asked for the book at a local CVS and they told me they could not give them out until Nov. 11. :(

I emailed customer care to see what's up, apparently it's just a regular old $4/20:

"I sent this up for further research. We have found that the coupon does not provide a $4.00 Extra Bucks coupon. The $4.00 is removed from the total of your purchase. The $4.00 coupon was added to another coupon to be removed from your total. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding in this matter."

The only problem is $4 wasn't deducted from my total when I used it. Oh well, I'm stocked up on $5/20's until christmas now anyways ^_^

I'm wondering if you scanned the coupon before other coupons. I don't have one cause the manager took it from the book before she gave it to me so I can't try this, but here goes. Buy $20 + of what ever. Scan that coupon first when your total is over $20. Then scan your other coupons.

Yea it didn't take off $4 off my total. In fact it said something like catalog $0.00 on the receipt when it was scanned

I had asked at one store and the cashier said they weren't allow to just hand them out. They had to wait for the register to prompt them to ask if a customer wants one. That only people that spend a lot get them first. So she scanned my card and the prompt came up and she showed it to me. Its a little banner message at the top of the screen.

I didn't take $4 off of mine either, it showed up as $0 as well.

I'm thinking CVS didn't program their registers for it early enough. There are problems with the $5/20 and $5/30 coupons that just came out, too.

my cvs cashier told me to ask the cashier checking me out to never hit the total button until i was completely done....maybe that would help??

I didn't see this posted yet so I figured I would let everybody know. I read on another site that the $4 ECB with $20 purchase was printing. Went to CVS just an hour ago and got my ECB. Cashier didn't have to force it. It just printed on it's own.
