Scenario
Buy:
(3) Northern 12 pk double rolls at 6.99 each (says limit is 3)
(2) Kashi Cereal at $3 each
(subtotal $26.97)
use
-$5/$25 flu quiz coupon
-$2/2 quilted northern (from all you magazine september)
-$1 off quilted northern printable (from coupons.com)
(2) -$3 off Kashi cereal from mailer
Total 12.97 (paying for $10 with ECBs; Earning $3 ECB)
When you figure in the ECB's you get back, the cost per double roll of toilet paper is .28. This amount doesn't include the ECB's that I paid with--I count those as cash spent. This is the cheapest I've ever been able to get toilet paper and it happens to be our favorite brand. The great news is that with my ECBs, I'll only be paying 2.97 out of pocket (plus tax) and walking away with a cart full of toilet paper. Yippee!
