cvs-DO THE NEW DEALS START SATURDAY AT ALL 24 HR. CVSes?

My Longs recently converted to a CVS (a 24 hr. one) and it has only been about 6-8 weeks since the transition so I'm new to all of this.

I want to do the Blink Tears deal that is in the 8/2 ad, but my $4/1 MC expires on Saturday. Will I be able to do the deal anytime on Saturday so that I can use my MC and turn it into a great MM?

I have 2 24 hour stores here and neither of them start on Saturday. There is a printable coupon available in the database for the blinks, but it's only 1.50:sad:

Best bet is to call and ask. One CVS near me (not open 24 hrs) rolls out the next week's deals on Sat 1PM....I learned this by just calling and asking.

one of my 24 hours stores dose start on saturday, it depends on if they have put up the signage for the new products yet.. good luck

some stores do but for two or three day sales the extra bucks will only print on those days

My 24 hour store starts the deal on Saturday before shift change (10:30 pm)

the range, so far as i can tell , is from an earliest of some time wed, to midnight on saturday.

what did your store say when you asked?

I guess it really depends on the stores. The CVS Iwork at we put it in anywhere from 12-6 it depends on who's working I guess. One of my supervisors is a couponer so if its a good week he puts the ad in early!!!!

My CVS is a Longs conversion store that's only been open for a few weeks; when I called they said that the new Sunday ad prices are effective "sometime" on Saturday, but they weren't really sure when.

I also found out the hard way this week that my ad does not exactly match the ad previews here (the various types of candy offered for the EB deal were different). My EB didn't print, but I got it worked out.

I see now that another $4 Blink MC is supposed to come out in this week's inserts so it's all good. I'm still going to research this Sat/Sun pricing thing at my store because it could come in really handy if you need some extra EB items to get the best use out of a $/$$.

Some stores do later in the afternoon have the bucks kick in for the next week. It really is hard to know which stores do and which ones dont. You could always try one item and if it doesnt work, have them refund you then and get your coupon back. :)
