Realistically, it's like an hour sale! It depends how busy your CVS is, but I know last year I was one of 4 people there at 7 am wanting all the freebies and they hardly had the items in stock. Good luck!

I saw a bunch of $1/1 ANY St. Ives product hang tags at Kroger a couple of weeks ago. These make the St. Ives body wash a .01 money maker.

What about the early bird special thing? I've never done CVS Black Friday. Does it open early on this day?

Last year, the ad started Thanksgiving day. My store (which is a 24 hr) said they weren't activating the BF ad til after 4am, so I went around 6:30, got everything I needed and back home before 7! The one thing I really wanted was the belgium waffle maker, so I was stoked I was able to get 1 of the 2 on the shelf. I didn't have any problems with the ecb items, everything I wanted was on the shelf.

I was at my 24hr store last year at 1130pm and checked out right after midnight. Got all my ECBs and had no problems at all.

Last year I went to my non-24 hour store around 11, 11:30ish and I got most of the freebies, but, some of them I got the last one or two on the shelf. there were at least 3 or 4 other people/couples in the store getting the freebies too. I've got no ECBs right now and I will probably sit this year out since I don't need anything on this list.

Last year was the first time I had done a Black Friday sale anywhere. I was visiting my sister and I convinced her and my mom to go with me. I based my deals off of someone here who typed up all her scenarios for little OOP with no ECB's to roll. It was awesome. We got there at 11 am on Thanksgiving day and we all got all the deals. They weren't out of anything. And there was another 2 people in the store doing the deals too. Although the store was new to the area and I don't think a lot of people knew how to CVS yet. So hopefully this year I'll have success here at home! Crossing my fingers.

I can't wait to see what the limits are, since they've been so stingy with the 'limit 1' all year long. If it's more than one I'll go for the deo, if not I might skip them this year. I'm still using the Aussie shampoo and Bic razors from last year, and I can't unload that awful Johnson's lotion on anyone.
