Default Re: CVS possible MoneyMaker week of 6/28

Unfortunately for us, CVS realized their mistake and 'fixed' the current deal today. The small cheap items that made the deal a MM for a few days no longer work for the deal. Armed with this information, I can only assume that the deal will not have any 'mistakes' in 2 weeks. There is always the possibility, but I think it's a very very very very very very very very small possibility.

this is up to each manager. the official policy is no expired, but they let the managers take them if they so choose.

Bad bad week but if you really need to roll there's some ok stuff I found:

Almay Pure Blends lip gloss or eye shadow $7
Receive $3 ECB
Use $1 off from Cosmo, Shape or Glamour (they all expire 6/30/09)
Final Price: $3
Limit 1

Speedstick 2/$4.50
Receive $3 in ECBS when you buy 2
Final Price: 2/$1.50
Limit 1

Softsoap body wash BOGO at $4.99
Use 2 coupons - $1 off SS 5/31/09 or SS 6/7/09
Final Price: 2/$2.99

Ragu 3/$5
Use $1 off IP or $1 off RP 5/17/09
Final Price: $.66

Bic disposable shavers are BOGO 50% off. The prices are supposed to start at $3.89 (I think), so if you use 2 coupons at $2 each, that would be a pretty good deal. ($1.77 for 2 packages).

Or maybe not such a good deal if you're already overstocked on free razors like I am.

I'll be looking for a crt and manf. for the Neutrogena Wave thingy. I want one of those. I read about it in a magazine as a second more budget friendly option to the clarisonic (retails at about $150).

I guess that is what they want and maybe what the intent was all along- to spend them and not roll them. I hope I do not sound too negative. There are some good deals here and there, but nothing like before.

I agree 100%. When I started couponing, just one year ago, there seemed to be free after ecb items each week, and monthly items to boot. Since Feb. or so, there seem to be many weeks with no free items at all, and the monthly deals are evidently over for good, with the clip-free crappola. The deals that are offered, are not tempting, and are really hard for rolling. CVS is my favorite for deals, but it won't be if this trend continues.

Not sure if this was posted anywhere else.... There's a $1 q in this month's RIB for Softsoap

My understanding is, it's up to the individual store managers whether they'll let you use expired ECB's.
