Now, I saw somewhere else on this thread, someone asked about BOGO items and if both items count towards a "spend X and get X ECBs" type thing. If stuff rings up like I explained above and comes off at the end, wouldn't both items count towards your total amount spent to get ECB's??? I have NEVER had any item ring up as 0.00, it always comes off after the magic button is pressed. And let me tell you, I have had some cashier's forget this button so I think my balance is much higher then it should have been and give more ECB's then I would have if they had hit the button first and givem me the correct balance.

Does any of this make sense??

Here's the easiest way to understand it:
A BOGO SALE - only 1 item counts towards ANY total
A BOGO COUPON - both items count towards a total

I went to CVS this afternoon to do the toothbrush deal. I got a Colgate Max
White for $3.49 and 7 of the $.99 ones so my total would be $10.49 before coupons. The $.99 ones are in the trial size/travel section, but don't say anything about being trial/travel size. On the receipt they say "Colgate Classic" and on the package they say "Extra Clean." So anyway, it didn't print out ECBs so I went back in and asked about it. Since the ad says "when you buy ANY Colgate toothbrushes," they adjusted it and printed out my $5 ECBs. It doesn't hurt to ask, and I'm glad I did.

Colgate toothbrush deal--I bought 2 max fresh brushes and 1 mas white brush, all for 3.49, but no ecb printed. At the bottom of my receipt it showed that I only had 3.49 purchased towards this deal. I pointed it out to the cashier, and she forced one. So, it didn't work on just the regular toothbrushes.

I am still trying to get there this week and I want to do the Colgate deal. I need kids toothbrushes, but I have some questions about what works and what doesn't.
Correct me if I am wrong please:

Max Fresh does NOT work
$.99 "trial" does NOT work

Kids Toothbrush DOES work

$1.99 brush DOES work

the add says prices starting $ 5.99 so i donno if it will print ecb?

I bought the Men's Nivea for $4.99 on Tuesday (Shampoo,Shave & ?) and it counted toward the deal.
