Today I did a very simple transaction in comparion to norma;)

    1 - Softsoap 4.99
    2- Colgate sensitive 7.98
-10 EB from last weeks Huggies deal
    -$2 Colgage coupons from website
    -.75 Softsoap coupon from insert
    =$0.42 on CVS GC

Got back: $4.49, $7.98, and $1.00 EB (cashier fix on the softsoap)...

    I love pure moneymaker weekends!!!!

My husband did exact the same thing except his cashier handed him 50 cents out of the drawer instead of printing the EB....so he earned 50 cents, $4.49EB and $7.98EB with OOP of $.42 on a CVS GC!!!

    Yippie!
Wishlist - updated 5/10 & NBPN rebates for NC!

Im a newbie here, and I really like this idea...I am a college student, and my sister is going to college next year, and both my parents and my roommates would appreciate it if I started doing this ;)

I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a newbie starting this week. I dont have any coupons or ECBs. For some reason, Colgate won't let me print out the toothpaste/toothbrush coupons :(. I would like to get started this week with some ECBs, obviously without spending too much, or spending on items we need. We always need feminine hygiene products, dental care, and body wash. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time!

If you don't want to spend alot out of pocket (oop), you might want to wait for a week with lots of "Free after ECB" (FAECB) deals that you do have coupons for - that way you earn more back in ECBs than you spent.

If you want to start this week you could start with the Softsoap Bodywash & the Colgate (that website hates me also. Sometimes it prints for me and sometimes it doesn't no matter what I do). That way you will at least make back the same in ECBs as you spent in cash, and use those ECBs in the coming weeks to earn more. The one thing you definitely want to start doing is collecting coupons right away! The more coupons you have the more and better deals you will be able to do in the future. Ask family, friends & coworkers for their inserts if they do not use them. You can also join the "trading forum" and trade for coupons you may need.

Good luck & welcome to the craziness!

Well, welcome!!! If you want to start CVSing and be good at it, forget about brand loyalty. Right now, get a CVS card from a CVS store. Do not do it online, as you will wait for the card a week or so. Just get one from the store, use it immediately, and register it online. Make sure you check that you want to receive valuable offers. Right now, there is a great deal on Stayfree pads. Some pads (low count) is on clearance for $1.60. http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...2-ecbs-mm.html Each pack will generate 2 ECB. Money maker. Limit 5 packs under each card. Do not buy all 5 packs under 1 trasaction. Break it into 2-3. Otherwise, will end up with 1 large ECB. Read this thread and everythng else under CVS forum. Do not forget about scanners. Wonderful thing. Will print CVS coupons on CRT (cash register tape.) You can use CVS coupon and mq (manuf. coupon) on the same item.

Also, this week's freebies after ECB are the Colgate toothpaste and Softsoap SCRUB body wash.

It's a little hard for me to make out the SoftSoap in the ad, but this is the way it appears to me.

The Softsoap body wash coupon was not one of the tear out coupons, it was at the bottom of an advertisement for Softsoap located within the pages of the magazine.

I found Siera Mist Q's buy 2liter get 1 free. I was able to print 2. So this may work with the soda deal. So you would get 5 Siera Mists for $2.50 if I am figuring it out correctly.

Is anyone else here having trouble printing the e centive coupons, like colgate and airwick? I was having trouble about a month ago printing smartsource and now I can print them. Now all of a sudden I cant print these. I keep getting this message:
You are trying to print to a device that is
not valid for printing coupons. Please change
your default printer settings and try again.

I print all of my qs on this printer and always have. It is my default and I can print from every other source. Can anyone help with this. I went to the control panel and made sure that I was on the correct default printer, which I knew I was because I was printing the Nivea ones after this. Yes I have tried other web servers like firefox. please some one help me. It is driving me crazy.
    Have a Blessed Day.

    From Gastonia NC
    Reps if it helps!
