Default Re: Sneak Peek CVS Weekly Ad 2/22 - 2/28 Scans included

Posting this here, because this transaction is based on this week's ad, even though I did the transaction yesterday after the price change. I did this based on my Colgate coupons that expired yesterday.

I bought two Colgates for .88 apiece, and used two .75 coupons. Total OOP... .37. I did not even use ECBs for this.

The cashier was extremely impressed, and asked if I was one of those who looked for the bargains at CVS. She then wished aloud that she could be like us. I wrote down www.hotcouponword.com on a slip of paper. Hopefullly she'll join us.

EDIT: Sorry looked at ad and powder is part of the deal. So I hope this deal will work for the powder. Awww shucks I didn't get the manf. q though.

Just in case it hasn't been posted yet. The $2/1 manf. coupon was in the 02/08/09 Red Plum exp. 03/15/09. Database states it's for foundation too..so again I don't know if the powder is a foundation powder to use this coupon. I guess we can work out details next week.
Has anyone tried the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder yet to see if the foundation coupon works on it? It's unclear whether it's a foundation powder.

You know what I think happened, I bought it on Saturday night and they probably had started the new sales already and I got the ECB from Sunday instead of Saturday. I know it claimed I had maxed out the Gillette offer alll week. I'll check my receipt after making a purchase today to see if it's gone.

There is a the Renuzit Tri-Scents Starter Kit deal this week, I would do it but I don't have the correct amount of ECBs to make it come out right for me.

Renuzit Tri-Scents Starter Kit, OVERAGE (vintagesierra)
Total: $0.51 MM
Sale: $5.49
MQ: $4 2/22 SS (regional)
ECBs earned: 2
Math: 5.49-4=1.49 get back 2 ECB

FYI, the Extreme Energy 6 hour shot for this week is NOT the monthly deal - the monthly promo/event code is 17026072, while the code for this week is 10926072.

So if you have already maxed out for the month, you can get another.
I bought one this morning, after having gotten 2 last week (wed) and did not get the ECB. My receipt shows Limit Reached Qty 2. So it is counting the ones from last week. Buyer beware.
