There are also $1.50 off Dayquil or Nyquil in last Sunday's (2/8/09) P&G.

I'm a complete newbie at CVS, so of course YMMV. But I think this could be a stockup price.

Nyquil or Dayquil :

Total: $.99
Sale: $9.98/2
MQ: $1.50/1 Nyquil or Dayquil (either P&G 1/18/09 or 2/8/09..use two)
ECBs Earn $5
Math: $9.98 - $3 MQ - $5 ECB = $1.98/2 or $.99 for 1

We always get colds, so we use a lot of Nyquil. Or actually the store brand since we usually can't afford Nyquil itself. But $.99 a bottle? Oh Yeah!!
I'm already looking forward to the 22nd.

I have taken to thinking of the ECBs I need to spend as free coupons on whatever I would have to put money out for in the next few weeks: milk, eggs, grocery items, plastic/paper products, gifts...I am amazed by what all I am finding to "buy" at CVS for free.

thanks for the ideas, I do buy those stuff with my ecb, but except eggs, oil and some other food, everything goes on sale every couple weeks and combined with qs, i get them really cheap so how can i finish these ecbs?:shrug7:

I agree. I had to burn some ecb's and got a lovely two tone Sharp watch. Never thought about it before. Funny as much as I'm in that store it never dawned on me before. Also got the 2 GB flash drive on sale for $9.99. Great for saving documents and pics.

revlon question

the ad says get 10ecb when you spend 20 on revlon cosmetics & then lists the beauty tools underneath the ad starting at 1.99.

are the beauty tools included in the ecb offer?

is there any revlon cosmetic product that is 1.99? or what is the cheapest revlon cosmetic you have found in your store?

thanks.

Yes, the beauty tools are included and count towards the "spend $20 get $10 extra bucks deal. It is hard to tell on the ad scan but in the actual ad there is a color block of the Revlon. It reads "ALL Revlon Face, Eye, Lip, Nail or Beauty Tools".

They use to have some emery boards that were $1.99 but at my store they now have a larger package that is $3.29 and that has been the least expensive item I have been able to find. Hopefully, someone else will post if they know about an item for $1.99.

Even if you find the $1.99 emery boards, you probably won't find TEN of them in stock. (Or eleven actually since they are $1.99)

Nail polishes are usually the cheapest for me. They start at 4.99 I think. There is a clear one that is 5.99.

Revlon nail polish, GDA (jlk77)
TOTAL: 12.96
SALE: 4.99 color polishes, 5.99 clear polish
MQ: 2.00/1 Revlon color cosmetic 2/8 SS (these always beep, but some even have nail polish on the coupon)
ECBs Earned: 10.00
MATH: (3) 4.99 color polishes + (1) 5.99 clear polish = 20.96 - (4) 2.00/1 mfr coupons = 12.96 oop

There is also a $1.00 mq on any Colgate over 4oz (?). I'm not sure which insert these were in but it was a while back. So, makes this a mm.
