Default Re: Current CVS Ad 2/8 - 2/14 Scans included

here's my cvs trip today.

#1
cvs cotton rounds 25 ct .99 x 10 = 9.90
cvs chewable asprin 1.99
-$2/10 cvs brand q
-10 ecb
oop: 0
earn: 10 ecb & 1.99 ecb

(question on this transaction, my total after the cvs q was 10.53, i gave the 10ecb & my oop was 0. the receipt says ecb was adjusted down to 9.89...how/why did that happen? shouldn't i have paid 53 cents?)

#2
gillette fusion razor 7.99
ear rinse 7.99
wheat thins .99 x 4 = 3.96
- $2/2 wheat thins q x 2
- $4 gillette q
- 10 ecb
- 1.99 ecb
oop: 0
earn: 7.99ecb & 4ecb

#3
wheat thins .99 x 4 = 3.96
ear rinse 7.99
- $2/2 wheat thins q x 2
- 7.99 ecb
oop: 0
earn 7.99 ecb

not a bad day at cvs & i have 1.99 more ecb then i did before! :)

Hmm wonder if the $1 Johnson's lotion or wash crt would work for the Buddy Bars?

The register screen said $10.53, which includes the tax. Your total, if you add the pre-tax cost of the items, was only $9.89 after your $2/$10 CVS coupon. The cashier adjusted your $10 ECB to $9.89, which reduced your taxable total to $0. So you didn't have to pay any tax!

Just keep in mind that the screen shows the total AFTER tax. If you want to know your pre-tax total, ask the cashier at any time.

Hope this helps! (And yes, that was a great trip you had there...)

not sure if this was already posted, but I noticed today that the Listerine is $3 off ea (in the weekly ad). Anyway, that makes it $1.49 for MOST of the 1 Liter bottles. I also had some blinkies for $1/1, so that made it .49 ea!!! Worked great as a filler for my emailed cpn for $5/$30!!!

I got that CRT too, and if I remember correctly, mine said it had to come from the beauty aisle, so I think that would rule out any kid's products.

yep! i had 10 ecb from the l'oreal deal last week. i did all 3 transactions at the same cvs. so basically they paid me 1.99 ecb to take all that stuff home!
