I was wondering how does a raincheck work on an item that has ecb right now? I have a raincheck on the listerine whitening pen for 1.99 after ecb, from a while back. If i buy 2 - at $10 each, will I be able to get it adjusted to 1.99 and still get the $10 ecb??

Or how does that work??

ask the manager at your store. i was told that since they don't get paid for them, they don't take them. ( one of my grocery stores told me they just take the hit, and lose the money, to get me to come to their store.)

cvs may want your business enough they will be willing to lose 5 bucks to get you to come in. my store won't.

not sure the price on these items. If you can get 2 for $5.50 and have 2 coupons they would be free.

There is also a $1.50/1 toothpaste coupon but I am not sure where it came from. Maybe the dentist office? I had 2, but I already used them.

This might be a stupid question but I cannot figure out why everyone keeps saying to buy two Listerine Whitening pen's in two seperate transactions??? To get the $10 ECBs - you have to spend 20 - wouldnt that mean you have to spend 20 in one transaction? Also, the limit of 1 per cutsomer - doesn't that just mean 1 $10 ECB's for that page - not 1 item? I would think you would have to buy in one transaction - two listernine pens - also that would allow you to come very close to using the $5 of 25 dollar purchase that everyone seems to get every other day. Please explain this to me cause I am confused on it. Thanks.

I didn't look back to see why people are doing it that way. There are lots of reasons why it makes sense to split an order.

For all the CVS buy X get X it is accumulative, so fine to split up.

No, you do not have to buy all in 1 transaction, bottom of your receipt keeps a running total and ECB will print when you get to $20.

Think they say to do seperate because of the CVS $3 off 1 beauty coupon.
Most Cvs coupons specifically say 1 per customer , so if they did it all together would not be able to use 2 of the $3 off CVS coups only 1 and would end up paying $13.
$20 - $4 ( 2- $2 IP's ) - $3 ( 1 beauty coup ) = $13

If you seperate its $10 - $2 ( IP) - $3 ( $3/ CVS beauty coup ) = $5
Do that again and total cost for both order is $10 and you get $10 back .
So pay $10 and get $10 back is free after ECB

Can add items and do with $$ off $$ coupons if you have any.
Haven't gotten any myself since thanksgiving week.

I just found the 2 off IP coupon - it was on the front page - but still not sure where the $3 beauty coupon is coming from. Also, will a whitening pen count as a beauty product?
