LOL, thanks! Feel free to "steal" it, I am always looking at everyone else's scenarios to get good deals as well. ;)

I told DH about this scenario, I was all excited. His response:

"Well, do we NEED any of that stuff?"

Oh geez, so I had to explain to him that I had ECBs that needed to roll and that nothing we really need is going to get me those ECBs back that week and that this is just an opportunity to extend the life of those ECBs.

I have the openoffice one guess I Need to figure out how to lay it out like you did going to try it later today...

=SUM() is my friend

Like to get the Price x Qty is =SUM(B20*C20) and I put that in D20

If I want to add say .. D20 through D25 in the D26 slot I would do =SUM(D20:D25)

If I just wanted to add together D20, D22, and D24 I would do =SUM(D20;D22;D24)


I used to help run the productivity numbers when I worked so I already had a bit of experience with spreadsheets.

Woot! I had a successful dumpster dive today. I have this awful habit of not keeping old inserts and then scrambling to find coupons that I didn't foresee needing. So I had nothing for any of the free after ECB items. But I managed to score Benefiber, Halls, and ThermaCare. And when I scanned all my cards today, I also got a $1 Excedrin Express Gels CRT on each of three cards. Back to my scenarios. LOL

And I thought my $30-someodd ECBs was good.

I ended up with an estimated $110 per card after Thanksgving. One had $130+, I only used it for MM's for like close to 2 months. I have been able to roll them fine. Looks like Christmas week we will be able to roll them ALL. I have purchased all my Christmas cards and gift wrap supplies with some of the profits and I still have $100 per card after the recent MM's.

Now After this upcoming week I might exceed $120 per card. On regular weeks I'm not sure you could roll that many without taking some decent, but manageable losses.
