Default Re: POSSIBLE free Band Aids...

argh, ok so the IPs I was thinking of are for Johnson**'s** products. so, they wont work. the only johnson and johnson ones I found in the DB that would work are home mailers.

the 8/10 inserts were:
Johnson & Johnson Band Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages (***)Ultra Strips(***), Any - 08-10-08 SS1

so, if the ultra strips are included, free bandaids for those of you lucky enough to have the insert qs. :)

Man, this is why I don't do rebates! Too easy to screw up!

Default Re: Listerine issues 12/21-12/22

When you used the diabetes book q for the listerine deal, did the register beep? I did for me so I had to do separate transactions since I didn't notice the "limit one per customer".

I was so irritated after I had to go back and rework my plan. To top it off the manager had to come up and void my transaction and then mistakenly filed my listerine q's with a bunch of others. The cashier thought I had them since he couldn't find them. I had to get out of line, walk back to the pharmacy, get 3 more books, cut them out, and then start all over again. Boy was I H-O-T!!

Default Re: CVS Free Items 12/21 - All you need to know before you go!!

Things have been very busy for me and I haven't had a chance to hit this sale yet. Do you think there will be anything left if I go this afternoon? Also I absolutly hate to get rainchecks for a faecb item unless I really need the item anyway, because it is just too confusing plus if I try to use a q with the rain check it is completly obvious that I will be making money on the item and that makes me feel kinda bad. So do you think if the store is completely out of alot of items should I go for the rain checks or not, is anyone else getting rainchecks on this sale? I read someone posted that they were told no rain checks for this sale and then someone else posted that they got some?

Some stores give RC's some don't. Me, I got a RC for the Thermacare, Listerine, Benefiber, A&H and something else lol. I kind of like RCs. They don't expire, so I have more time to come up with q's. With the new system, it's not as obvious that the item is a MM. I guess it's personal preference and whether or not your store will give you a RC.

It didn't beep for me because I only used one. I believe that you can use one of each diabetes book coupon per day per card without beeping because the register will actually enforce the limit.

I don't think anyone should be too upset that they weren't allowed to use multiples of the listerine Q, IMO. They do say very clearly "one per customer", and the store is well within their rights to enforce that-though any snide remarks and nasty comments from employees are certainly uncalled for. The coupon is also for "premium" varieties of listerine, which I don't really think this is, so I was really happy to be able to use my one.

Re Listerine:

I have 8 bottles in my cabinet, I use mouthwash 3-4 times a day as opposed to brushing which I do twice a day. So Yes...I *need* 15 bottles! :P Granted I will not buy them all at once, but I keep a decent back stock and Hubby only likes the Agent Blue stuff, so if that is on sale I buy it.

I went yesterday (Sunday) morning and today (monday).

There are 2 stores in my immediate area and on 5 minutes down the road. The first one was supposed to open at 8:00 and there were about 6 of us standing there at 8:15. Somebody slept in or something? So we decided to go to the second one. Here's how I made out:

Did 3 transactions. If anyone is interested in the breakdown, I will post it.

5 Listerine
5 Right Guard Sticks
1 Crest Pro Health Toothpaste
1 Crest Pro Health Rinse
1 Zantac 150
1 Excedrin
1 Halls Naturals

Started with $17 in ECBs, did 3 separate transactions. Paid $2.78 OOP and got $24 in ECBs for next week.

Also went this morning to the first CVS and they had ONE aerosol right guard, picked that up. Still have $24 in ECBs going.

So, I got about $100 worth of stuff for $2.78 OOP and $24 ECBs. I love getting paid to buy things.
