I didn't go in with a plan, I knew it would be to time consuming to figure deals only to be disappointed when they might be OOS, which was the case today. No Excedrin, Thermacare, Arm & Hammer or Loreal HIP. The only Listerine on the shelf was the Origional and when the manager was ringing me up, said that wasn't the one with the ECB. I told her that was OK, $2.99 is still a good price. Sure enough it did print, but DH doesn't like that "flavor", so hopefully they will have restocked when I go back tomorrow. Manager said she couldn't issue a RC b/c the shipment was delayed, that's why all the freebies were OOS (plus she said there was a shelf clearer that came in after midnight and whiped them out of what was on the shelf.)

I wasn't planning on the Benefiber sticks and left ther $2 coupon at home, but since I had almost $22 in ECBs that were going to exp tomorrow, I didn't want to burn them on just anything.

I used 21.97 in ECBs, got back $24.85 and paid .77 for:
2 Sally Hansen Nail Polishes, 1 Benefiber Sticks, 1 Listerine, 1 Halls. For fillers, I bought 2 Queen Ann Cherries and 2 Chocolate Santas. When I was checking out, the cashier all but begged me to buy a Chapstick, it was the upsell item and she wanted to win the contest.

I was in a different CVS than I usually go to because they have better stock. They had a stack of the Sally Hansen $3/2 coupons laying on a table, and I only took 2! I haven't used them yet, but this store is too far out of my way to make another special trip. Argh. I was thinking "Oh well, the limit is 2 and I have 2 cards, so I only need 2 coupons since they expire soon."

And I really didn't like any of the colors of that lacquer kind-so at least I'll possibly be able to get some that I do like.

FWIW, I have a 2 year old and I'm due in March, so I'm blaming the toddler/preggo brain too. I've been screwing up so many deals lately and then doing a Homer Simpson "d'oh!" when I get in the car.

I would take advantage of this, but the last time I saw this price a few months ago I preordered coupons & picked up roughly enough free band-aids to last me until, oh, 2013 or so....

Well worth having a huge stockpile, though, given how expensive they usually are!!

Hey! Quick question from a newbie! I know the answer to my question is somewhere on this site, but I cannot find it. Can I go into CVS tomorrow and get rainchecks for the free offers or will they only give me a RC for the item and not the ECB's? I got a late start this morning and had no luck finding anything except the Benefiber sticks! I went to 3 stores and they were all cleaned out! :(

Depends on your store. But they are suppose to give you the rain check with the ECB amount. I always cut out the product in the ad and staple it to the rain check so when I got to use them, it makes it easier on everyone. Welcome to HCW

is there a way to get the rebate for the excedrin if you don't have the 10/19 SS?
