CVS December Monthly Ad Pics

I got mine today and it did show limit reached for 15 total, did in two separate purchases to get to use $3/15, bought the energy drink and a candy bar with the first 6, then got the other 9 in next transaction. Did not want to get a $25 ECB.

Hmmm... I brought one of these up to the counter today, to do a price check, and it rang up $1.99 at my store. :( Normally, you don't have to buy more than one of an item for the sale price to show up, right? The store had NO tags on any of the monthly stuff, and it was a mess, and I don't even know if they had any out for the weekly deals, none that I can recall.

I'd love to get the bars, but really only if they're free. Perhaps I'll try my other CVS tomorrow.

Well, here's an update! I went to CVS. The bars didn't ring up as 3/$5 until after they scanned my ExtraCare card. But, they did ring up as 3/$5. So, I bought 15 bars at $25 plus tax. I had $19.99 in ECB when I arrived. I also had a $5/$25 coupon. Here was my transaction, it turned into a moneymaker! Woot! I love CVS!!

Got $25 in ECB. :) The cashier was floored when my total was $0.01. Then, she was totally shocked when my receipt printed out $25 in ECB. :rofl: I don't know if she even realized that I made money on the transaction. She just staggered, "You people and your ECB! You make me crazy!" I was just laughing. She's never friendly but the supervisor was up front when I got my stuff, so she had to be nice. Hahaha! Best part is, my husband likes the protein bars. So, he's all excited! :)

I have BOGO coupons plus $1 off 2 bottles coupons for the Gold Peak.

4 x 1.59 = 6.36
- 2 x 1.59 = 3.18
-1.00 = 2.18 OOP plus tax
Get back 2 ECB

The stores in my area realize that the $1 is off the two bottles that you have to buy and the BOGO is taken off of the 3 & 4th bottles.

I could do the deal twice and end up paying about $5, but getting $4 back in ECBs.

I am new to CVS and the ecbs. I read in another post there is a printable coupon in the database for the bars, but I looked and did not see one. I did a few of the Black Friday Freebies and have about $21.00 in ECB and would love to buy 15 of the bars with little out of pocket...I may just buy 12 bars..I will still break even that way. Any help with locating the printable would be great!!!

There aren't any printables that I know of. Only the insert coupons which seem to be regional.
Since these are free after the ECB, you should break even as long as you buy 3 at a time, up to 15 total.
I don't know what denomination your ECBs are, but If you have one for 5.00, do it this way:
Buy 3 for 5.00 (pay with your ECB) - get 5.00 ECB
Buy 3 more for 5.00 and pay with your previous ECB
Keep going until receipt says "offer limit reached" - should be 5 times, or 15 total bars.
