I'm Terri, single mother to Chloe'age 10, two kitties and one dog. Western NC
I just recently started using my CVS Caremark card instead of the old red card. Here's what I did today.
Bought:
(2) CVS paper towels single roll $1.29
(1) CVS Aloe Cool & Fresh lotion carry-on size $1.49
(1) CVS shampoo Fresh Kiwi 18 oz $.99
Used:
(2) $1/1 CVS paper product
(1) $1/1 CVS skin care product
(1) $1/1 CVS hair care product
- $1.02 Caremark card discount
Subtotal: $0.04
Tax: $0
OOP: $0.04!
Normally I would have to pay 8.5% sales tax on everything, but since the CVS coupons reduce the taxable total there was no tax calculated. This is my lowest OOP ever at CVS. Granted, I didn't buy much, but I'm still excited about it.
I also used my Green Bag tag. If I can stop by the store three more times this week, I'll earn $1 greenbag ecb. Then it'll be a money-maker!

I went to CVS earlier this week, and this is what I got:
2 Pantene shampoos
1 Reese's dark chocolate
2 Leap Frog wipe-off boards
3 Stride gums
I paid $4.82 oop.
I had $2 ECBs, 55 cents off the Reese's candy q, $3/2 Pantene, and a B2G1 q for the gum. And I got $2.99 back in ECBs.![]()
Gotta brag about what I did today,
Two Olay facial cleansers at $6.99 each.
Two CVS apricot acne scrubs (travel size), $1.49 each.
Two CVS makeup remover wipes, 99 cents each.
Two CVS cocoa butter moisturizer sticks, 99 cents each.
I used the following coupons: two $5 off any Olay Regenerist facial cleanser (P&G coupon book); 4 $1 off any CVS skin care item (CVS scanner); and 2 $1 off any CVS paper product (CVS scanner); and one $4/$20 facial care product purchase (CVS scanner).
My total before tax came to 96 cents. I had a 99 cent ECB to cover that, so the only thing I had to pay out of pocket was sales tax.
And the Olay purchases will count toward the latest Olay rebate.
Gotta love those CVS scanners!

If anyone has a few successful senerios I'd be most gratefull. THANK YOU!
