I am so excited! After spending the last two days of reading all about how CVS works and the wonderful information you guys have shared with us, I decided to give this a try. Here's my first trip:

Nature Bounty Women's Vitamins 9.99 - 5.00 mq = 4.99
Nature Bounty Men's Vitamins 9.99 - 9.99 (BOGO) - 5.00 mq = -4.99
Osteo Bi-Flex 21.99 - 6.00 mq = 15.99
Osteo Bi-Flex 21.99- 21.99 (BOGO) - 6.00 mq = -6.00
Airwick Oil Ref. 2.50/2 = 5.00 - 1.00 mq - 1.00 peelie/2 = 2.00
Airwick Oil Warmer 1.49 - 1.49 mq (buy 2 refills get a warmer free) but they acually deducted 2.50 = -1.01

With tax, my total oop was $11.35!!! I also earned $6.00 ECB's. I hope I explained all this correctly...I'm just so excited! BTW, we do actually use the supplements and my hubby is going to be surprised on my savings!

I couldn't do that again if I tried.....lol

I was able to get the following for free by using coupons and ECB's:

Used Excedrin Coupon $1.50/1
Used B1G1 Oust Coupon
Used $5/$20 CVS Coupon

Added up to $11.45 After Coupons

Used $12 ECB's

Received $11 ECB's back!

Ok, so I didn't come out totally even with the ECB's, but I had $31 of them and I can make that dollar back so easily it was worth loosing just to get my Excedrin for free. That darn stuff is expensive! I'm a bit giddy over getting it for free.

I guess I did all right for my first time... I thought I was going to wind up paying around $7 OOP, but I figured it up wrong (and mistakenly picked up the wrong thing off the shelf... Maybelline lip glosses look remarkably like L'Oréal lip glosses. Sigh.)

I even sat down in the pharmacy section (per seedlady's suggestion) and figured it all up. I had a $10/$50 from the scanner and came up with $50.07 before Qs. Between that, $10 ECBs, $26 in MQs, and even a $1 CVS Q I found on the floor, I still came up to almost $20 (although $4 of that was tax).

Still, I think it's not bad, considering I saved $117, according to the receipt. I just have to make sure I check carefully what I pick up. Plus, make sure I count my Qs right. I had 3 for each of the L'Oréal items (9 total) but only 2 each for Revlon, but my brain was stuck on 3 so I picked up 3 Revlon items. Didn't realize until I got in the car and started trying to figure out where I went wrong.

I guess I could have gone back in and gotten a refund, but I felt so bad because I asked the cashier "are you *sure* you got all the coupons? Are you *sure* you got both the $10 ones?" (She did.)

Anyway. This really is a brag. I saved 85%! And I think I got some good stuff:

Oh, and I got 6 12-packs of Pepsi for $16, plus $10 ECBs. Plus I learned a few things (and knowlege is priceless). I found about 20 orphaned Qs in the store for Nivea, Jergens, Sally Hansen, and Lance crackers. And I had fun.

Ok today was the best day EVER!! LOL
I am a HUGE Mt Dew drinker so the pepsi deals at all the stores saved me tons!!

I couldn't believe the RUSH I had all evening.....I am soooo happy I started doing coupons and checking out HCW everyday!!!

Today was my first day back doing CVS in months. Started with a $5 ECB, a $15 ECB (from survey), and a $5/30. Got:

Pretty pleased with myself... not quite break even on the rolling, but pretty close! Plus, I am set on toilet paper for little awhile... I hadn't had to buy toilet paper in like 16+ months! I'm actually really excited to try the powder. It's a finishing powder. I use bare minerals makeup and am almost out of mineral veil, so I'm hoping this will be an effective cheap substitute!

Took me going to 4 stores before I found one that had all the items for my scenario in stock (yeah, that was annoying!), but otherwise, excited to be back in the game!

Haven't been to CVS since those fantastic B2S deals back in July and August...besides that I was on unemployment and trying to keep cost ( and temptation ) to a minimum..

So thrilled!! Today I got around 60 dollars worth of stuff for less than 20 (if you include ECB) I did the B1G1 on Sundown Vitamins, had six one dollar off on one coupons(don't even know where I got them all), Nutrition B1G1, two one dollar off coupons, free Colgate, free crest rinse.
