Default Re: November Monthly Deals *PICS IN POST #2*

The November book has "Get $2 Extra Bucks wyb Dermarest Psoriasis or Eczema Care 2-4 oz, limit 5"

Original price is $7.50 but I found both these items marked down 50% to $3.75. Plus, there are $1 peelies on the boxes! This makes the net cost $0.75 per box ($3.75 less $1.00 peelie = $2.75 oop, earn $2 EB), which is EXCELLENT if you need this product! I stocked up :)

I found them in the skin care isle, with the lotions, on the bottom shelf. The markdown may not be tagged, but be sure to do a price check.

I posted this deal in the Clearence threads, but wanted to include here as well as the Nov EB deal makes it sweeter. Hope that helps someone

The Sambucol is a limit of five. If you e-mail Sambucol they will send you a $4/1 coupon in the mail! I received my coupon within a week, so if you request it now you can use it before the monthly deal ends.

I'm in Texas, south of Houston. I have been to CVS probably a dozen times since this deal started and have had no luck finding it. Same problem today with the moisturizer.

I am getting so sick of all of the CVS stores in my area being out of everything by Monday morning, which is when I go. If you live in the League City/Clear Creek area, please stop cleaning out all of the specials and leave at least one for me. :) I don't really feel it is appropriate for people to use multiple CVS cards - I really think the intent is to have one per household. I think this is why the deals are always gone when I go in.

Does anyone know the REAL raincheck policy on free after ECB deals? One manager told me she couldn't give me a raincheck for it to be free. Is that fair, though, if they advertize it and I can't find it anywhere?

take any raincheck she is willing to write, and staple the ad to it. when you redeem it, see if she will give you the bucks on a money card. if she will not, phone 1-800-shop-cvs, and ask them to set it to print the bucks.

oh, wait- if it is a week from now- after the 23rd, ask for the numbers to be typed into the register, and the ecb will print without a phone call. oh, life is good!

Oui, I have called (800) SHOP-CVS on this issue and here is the lowdown ...

CVS gives each store's manager the ability to offer or not offer rainchecks on items that are free after ECBs.

For that matter, for ANY sale item.

I have found that the most 'receptive' CVSs are the 24 / 7 locations.

+

As for the CVS locations that will write you a raincheck on an item that is free after ECBs ...

• They can write the raincheck for the original offer, issuing you a CVS gift card for the ECB amount when redeeming the raincheck.

- or -

• They can write the raincheck for the selling price AFTER the ECB amount has been subtracted ($4.99 - $4.99 in ECBs = $0.00 is the price that you will pay when redeeming the raincheck).

Sambucol deal

I posted this in the November deal thread, but thought I would re-post here.

Sambucol is 12.95 right now, with a $10 ecb. I e-mailed the company about getting a coupon, and they sent me one within the week for $4/1!

If you request the coupon now, you may get it before the November deals end. This was a great MM for me.

Thanks for the heads up.

When this was a big $$ maker last winter, I stocked up. It really did help me stay healthy.

Did they send you an e-mail coupon or snail mail?
