Default Re: Possible Money Making Soyjoy Bars Deal

My dd actually loves these so I'm planning to pick up a lot. Would this work?

$10 - 10 soy joy bars
-$2 ($2 off 10 bars)
-$3 ($3 off 5 bars)
-$3 ($3 off 5 bars
-$1 (B2G1)
-$1 (B2G1)
___________
$0 oop and get $4 ECB
Unfortunately, no. The $2/10 applies to all 10 bars, so you can't stack $3/5 on top of that. Likewise, the $3/5 applies to all 5 bars, so you can't just buy 5 and stack BOGO Qs on top of that. If you want to get a lot, I would just buy 10 and use 2 x $3/5. You'd pay $4, but they'd still be free after ECB. HTH.

Also, if you have Rite Aid there will be another deal coming up there on soyjoy bars. They will be .50 each and free after rebate on 10.

I have done this twice.

This is what I did my second time:

Bayer Contour meter $30
Mucinex DM $13
Airborne 10 tablets w/ 2 bonus packets $7
(4) Soy Joy bars $1 each, $4

Total was $54 plus tax

Used:
$10 off $50 cvs coupon
$1 off Mucinex
$2 Airborne IP coupon
$30 Bayer meter coupon
$10 ECBs from doing deal earlier

Subtotal was 1.00
Tax was $2.03
Grand total was $3.03
Received $14 ECBs back and another $10/$50

HTHs someone. Getting the meter along w/ the spend $20 allowed me to use my $10 off $50. Going to do this again to hit limit of 3 times.

$15, pay w/ ECB, get back $10 ECB, so net cost of $5 for 3 Airborne.

Does Airbone work fairly well? I've taken thise immunity booster (Theraflu fortisense, Alka Selzer Immunity Complex, Sambucol etc.) and it seemed it helped when my co-workers were getting sick from left to right, and I thought I would get sick too, but I survived. I haven't taken Airbone before (since I haven't seen them in a good sale).
Well, since it's never been proven to work (only been disproven...) and got slapped semi-recently with a huge lawsuit for false advertising...

Airborne Settles Lawsuit - New York Times

Airborne Health, a Bonita Springs, Fla.-based herbal supplements firm, has agreed to pay $23.3 million to settle a class-action lawsuit brought against the company for falsely claimingits vitamins prevented colds.
According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a non-profit advocacy group that led the lawsuit, there is no credible evidence that Airborne prevents colds or protects consumers from germs.
"Airborne is basically an overpriced, run-of-the-mill vitamin pill that's been cleverly, but deceptively, marketed," David Schardt, the group's senior nutritionist, said in a statement.

My neice is a middle school teacher and she says Airborne works for her...

But if you're not sure, how about just getting 1 or 2 of those, then something else as fillers (like Hall's, if you have the BOGO coupons)? That way, you'll spend less OOP but still have a chance to try it...

I've tried airborne and sambuccol. I think sambuccol works much better and to be honest it tastes better too. Airborne overall isn't that cheap because of the amount of doses you need to take and how soon you need to take it. It won't work once you are sick. Sambuccol does help even if you are already showing symptoms. HTH
