it means they were in the newspaper on september 7th , and they were in the smaller of the 2 smartsource sections. if you saved your inserts, go look. (we use rp to denote red plum insert.)

always save the inserts in a stack somewhere- you never know when suddenly you will want a coupon that you DIDN'T bother to cut out the day it came- but now, woo-hoo- it makes the deal a moneymaker!

Dr. Pepper is bottled by Coke in some areas and Pepsi in others so it depends on what bottler has the rights in your area. Don't be surprised if you can't include Dr. Pepper in the deal if it normally goes on sale under a "pepsi deal" and not Coke.

Good to know. I wan't sure if Dr. Pepper would be included or not; I guess I'll have to use the U-Scan thingie to see if it's included.

About the expiration dates--last time I did this deal, my DH took a drink of the soda and promptly spit it out. Turns out the stuff had expired. So always watch the dates when you buy. I never would have thought about soda pop going bad!

Were any of your hershey bars specially marked at .50. Where it actually says .50 on the pack? Because the prepriced ones usually do not count for the ecb deals. I had an almond joy that was marked that way and I had to swap it out for a regular one.

I just got my first one through my email, a $4/20 (yay!!!)

also it has been said that some people are finding them by the pharmacy register, or that the pharmacy has them behind the counters.
