Why must we go in stores and completely clear the shelves when you've received more than enough profit on the TBs that you already have. What happened to thinking about others?

I think not selfish at all--- first come firsts serve-- if your prepared and the items there then go for it i say-- we dont coupon so we can leave a product on the shelves just in case someone may come back for it. with the economy the way it is i say use the knowledge youve got for all the proit you can get to help yourself and family out. and as a side note its just slightly silly to call someone selfish for buying 4 toothbrushes that were on the store shelf( wether hid or not)!

I don't think it's right that people, whether customers or employees, hide merchandise in the store. Also, the limit on this deal is 5 per card, which is unlikely because most free after ECB items are usually 1 or 2 per card. With this said, and many people having more than 1 CVS card, it's not surprising that many people just can't find these. For example, say 2 people with 2 cards go in CVS and max out this deal. That's 5 per card per person times two which is 20 toothbrushes which is probably a majority of what most stores carry at a time, if the shelf is full. That's a good reason of why most people can't find these. Plus, most CVS's are very understocked. Most deals you have to go first thing Sunday morning to have a chance to get in on the deal. Lastly, CVS should do a better job at either keeping the shelves stocked throughout the week or limiting the amount people can get, so people don't become selfish and start hiding product just so they can get in on the deal.

"Truth be told, I know of one man who coupons in my town, only because in October of 06 (the month that lives in infamy), he was in with his coupons buying the FA ECB products like crazy with his coupons...

    Jason,

I'm sitting here trying to remember what happened in Oct '06! Was it something global that I should remember or just something important to you? Oh, and what is "FA" ECB?

    Thanks,

I don't think I was being selfish at all. I took 2 hours out of my Sunday morning and spent the gas money to drive around to 3 stores to find this merchandise. What gives that person the right to hide those 3 for themselves? You are saying that I already got 6 of them and should leave those for others. Well, how do you know how many cards that other person has? Maybe they have 3 cards or 4 or 5 or even more?

I have waited in line on Sunday morning while my favorite cashier at my local store has done 5 transactions in a row for one person who has 5 cards. I think that is selfish.

You are entitled to your opinion but if you read my post, I also was at a CVS store earlier in the day and forgot all my coupons. I made the decision not to buy the toothbrushes then and decided to go back later in the evening with my Qs. I did not hide any toothbrushes, I just decided to take my chances and hoped that there would be some left. Well when I went back, all the toothbrushes (all 5 pegs of them that were there a few hours ago) were all gone. Were the people before me selfish not to leave any for me? I didn't think so. I was more mad at myself that I didn't have my coupons with me earlier in the day.

I worked in retail for a major department store for many years. If we were caught hiding merchandise, we would have been fired. Not sure why customers think that they can do this.

Funny, but not so funny.....I went to 8 CVS's for these and found 3. Here's how I found them.

    1) found one on the bottom of a "stand alone" cardboard display of Oral-B single brushes. Only reason I noticed it was because it was a two pack all other brushes were singles. Wonder how it got there....hmmmmmmm.

    2) found one laying back by the trail sizes with the front "G-U-M" silver label ripped off of it and lying face down. I knew what it was by the last 4 UPC numbers 2391.

    3) found one at an older store that still has the plastic toothbrush display cases. I moved some of the cases and it was stuck down behind in between the shelf and the wall.

I guess the good part would be that once I get into town (live 20 minutes away) I can cover 8 CVS's in about 10 miles.

Yeah....a limit of 5 on these probably wasn't the most "thought-thru" idea.

Can you tell me what specific products you found at CVS - I have never seen Mega Shower SB (or whatever it is that darned RAH coupon says..)

I'd love to work $40 worth of products (I have lots of the RAH coupons) into a deal so I can use another 10/50 cpn. I wish those darned things would stop spitting out like candy from our scanners and CRTs. I have to work too hard to get to 50 LOL and it makes me :hectic1::hectic1::hectic1:

I purchased Scubbing Bubbles Powerful Foam. I was going to try to use the $10 off of $50 but my daughter was way past nap and well.... I didn't have any more time to shop!

I went on Sunday and bought 2, my sister bought 2. I went back on Monday and there were a ton hidden behind the whole display, like up against the metal thing it sits on. I don't know if they were hidden or not, but someone had thrown them back there. They all rand up 3.99.

I'm completely irritated with this deal; I have gone to 15, yes, FIFTEEN CVS stores, and not one of them had a single dang toothbrush! I guess I can understand that people want to hurry and nab up the big moneymakers, but for cryin' out loud...None of my stores had ANY of them, not even the $3.99 ones.

I just gave up; not like we're getting ECBs for buying gas or anything, sheesh.
