I have about had it with CVS

:shrug7:I set out today,friday morning, for CVS-No ads in stores. Sunday ad was only one sheet -4 sides. My client had a fri. paper, so I briefly looked-up the specials. Later I went shopping, not one single Kotex liners and I asked manager where the Zippfizz was," said truck had just come in, and he hadn't had time to put up display". He reached behind other items on top shelf in nuitional section where he had hidden Zippfizz and pulled out 4 boxes, I think that was all that was back there. When I checked out, cashier said,Ahh, I don't even think she knew they had it. She said , "Have you heard what they are doing, not even giving us an ad,trying to save paper". How are we supposed to plan our shopping trips?

They are using a few free items to just get us into the stores. Hiding products and wasting my time makes me very angry.:hectic1:

I plan to e-mail CVS and tell them so.

i would call/email them. that is rediculous. i had the same problem at walgreens. i was very mad

I have noticed that they do that here too atleast at one of the stores here. I think every store they do this at I think customers should email corperate about this. It's getting ridiculous.

Now that I think about it, my store didn't have any ads there either when I went on Monday. I didn't buy a paper this week so I had to just get what I could remember from here. Unbelievable!

I went into my CVS the other night and noticed no sale ads, i was told that they are trying a marketing experiment. They are wanting to know how much impact the paper ads have on the money spent in the store, each store was given 25 copies, 2 must be kept in the store and when the remainder are gone they are just gone. The guy behind the register said that they have had complaints and does not think that this will last very long.
This was apparently done by corp. not any single store.

In order to keep my sanity I will just take my Sunday Paper ad with me into the store. An easy way to fix the prob. (Also complaining to the manager should help some).

We don't get the ads in the Sunday paper anymore. It's only on Fridays. :(

Thank goodness my CVS isn't doing this yet. But! mine is not putting up the sale tags. They only keep the original tags up and there is no way to see what is on clearance either. That just burns my hide.

Well, I just got back from CVS and there were no signs on any products letting the consumer know what is on sale. I went specifically for the sunsilk and if I wouldn't have known it was BOGO I would have walked right by it.

I went to CVS today and there was only ONE ad, and I took it.lol but it wasn't worth taking. lol It is horrible! and no sales tags were hung either. They surely are stinking lately.
